Two years later...
The wolves still romp around the city. Witches fly on their rainbow-powered broomsticks and sprites were no more. Thousands of people have lost their souls by the demons who were taking over the city.
Beatrice felt hopeless. She wanted to shed all her tears out until she couldn't breathe but that just seemed silly. It even made her think like she wanted to be a useless and unwanted baby. Or maybe even like Alice and Wonderland where she sheds a pool of tears when she ate a magical cookie and became a giant.
Leo also felt hopeless. Losing all of his friends made him want to quit. He didn't feel like himself. Worse, he didn't think he would stand out like all the others now that they have all fallen and transformed into thousands of tiny, white glowing bubbles of souls. Boys don't cry although he felt like he wanted to at this time. This minute. This instinct.
Sunday night...
Beatrice heard the sounds of hearts pounding and scratches. She could hear the screams of dying souls. Of her friends. Her family was dead. Her friends were also dead. But what about her sisters? The sounds were coming from the living room this time! Rushing towards the living room, Beatrice could only see - blood. Her whole entire body froze with chills down her spine. Tears filled her eyes as she immediately realised that her sister was isolated. And - dead.
A scream filled the entire apartment. The keys were stolen. Beatrice was all alone now, crying like shit.
Fuck her.
Leo flapped his blue angel wings powered with electricity to Thorn Arena. Beatrice found a crowbar that was lying on the floor, grabbed it and broke the windows of her luxurious home.
"I'm so sorry, beautiful home. But I have some important shit to do right now. I promise I'll come back," she whispered, coldly as she grew her wings and flapped all the way to the high skies, ready to team up with Leo. And the promise had been made.
There was no turning back now...
