After the sacrifice, I went as far as I could, eventually, there were figures in the distance running. They were probably the scavengers, humans cast into this land. Forced to live here until an exit is found, as I walked to where they were, I looked in the direction they were headed. In the distance, a civilization made of beds, chairs, and other furniture items. I should know I've been there. There are walls 10 feet thick and 25 feet high, every night that place gets attacked. Many of us die, but it doesn't matter we all die eventually, I've seen our dead. Hollow in the body, living statues. Void of life and yes we are all souls trapped here. If you ask where we come from I would say we come from the scavengers. When they die there souls enter the body's like ours. And when we die we become a soul adrift, forever. When their base gets attacked they kill majority of us that attack. We are as weak to a knife just as much as humans are. In some cases, I would like to think I can control myself at night. I leave the sight of the base, I worry that if I go there I will die. At least If I do pass I will not be in this perpetual nightmare any longer.
