The morning sun rises again, Grim woke up very happy and decided to thank Life for what he did for Arriane. After eating breakfast, he delivers the goods again. Not seeing Hans' face in the market relieves him, makes him think that Arriane is safe now. The sun is almost setting, Grim planned to asked Arriane and Elliot to thank Life but since he is a commoner and just a son of a fisherman he just can't get through the schools gate. He tried to wait but he did not know the schedule of the two, so he decided to go to the church himself. Again Holy knights are guarding the church’s entrance, the cardinal is nowhere to be found outside, Grim doesn't have spatial magic like Elliot, he doesn't possess any, so what he tried to do is sneak in at the back of the church where the kitchen is found. Good thing no is there right now. After he passed some hall filled with portraits and the main hall where the entrance is found, he arrived at the altar. But since he did not know how to call the angel, he decided to look in every room in stealth. All rooms was checked, the cardinal was sleeping in his room, other rooms where empty, the classroom for the priest in training was also empty due to the last day of the festival where the priest in training are found at the city's central organizing the event. The only room he hadn't checked was the hidden room at the back of the altar. He heard some noise that's why he found it. Grim got curious, he put his ears on the door to hear much better. It was 2 persons talking at each other.

"Your majesty, the persons you picked are here." Said the other guy.

Grim heard the other giy called the other majesty so he assumed that the other guy was Life. Grim decided yo open the door a liiyle bit in silence and he was right. He saw a Holy Knight, a 5 persons standing mostly females who just stared blankly at the floor and Life who was sitting in a good quality red couch that is meant for royals. The room looks luxury and a table and wine can be seen at the side of Life's couch.

Grim looked the girls. They don't look like themselves like they were hypnotized. Grim got more curious so he still listened and look. Now, he saw life stand up and touched each womans face, Life smiled so sweetly like a father and then he stopped at last girl, Life lift her head by touching her chin and used his other hand to cover her face, few seconds later the girl fell into the ground and on Life's hand was a pure white spherical shaped energy. Life smiled and ate it.

"Ah! Fresh soul! It's very delicious! The memories, the energy it gives, her loyal and faithful soul. It gives me energy!" He said and laughs.

When Grim heared that he fell to the ground shaking. His picture of Life, crumbled into pieces. He got scared so scared that when he fell he made a sound at the same time the door creaked. Life and the knight saw him. The knigt tried to dash forward but Life stopped the knight. Grim gathered his strenght to stand up and run, so fast that he felt his life was in danger.

Life told the knight that he will handle it himself. So the knight just bowed and left. While Life flew and looked for the boy. When he spotted him, he just followed hi from the sky laughing.

Grim arrived at his house at the forest, he tried to call his dad but is nowhere to be found, so he decided to look at the nearby lake. He saw his dad fishing, he called and ran onto him.

"Dad!" He shouted. His dad looked back and smiled.

"Oh! Grim, what happened. You look miserable." Gild said to his son while reeling the fishing pole.

"Dad! W-we hah!" Grim can't talk very much since he ran all the way non-stop, he was panting.

"We need to r-run away! Get out of this city!" He said. Gild's face became serious and dropped the fishing rod to the ground. He held Grims shoulders and seriously asked what happened.

Grim told him everything he saw. Gild looked worried and tried to ran back to their house.

"Dad! Why aren't you shocked? Do you know something?!" He shockingly asked Gild.

They both stopped at their feet, a beautiful being went down gracefully from the sky. Both of the knew who it was, Life, he smiled at both of them as usual the smile is so sweet and filled with warmth, but Gild got on his stance and Grim vomited at what he saw and remembered when he saw Life.

Life looked at Gild and wondered.

"Hmm? What do we have here? An illusion magic?" Life waved his hand and casted a breaker spell, breaker spells are high tier type of magic that cancels some magic. After casting it, a glass breaking like sound can be heard and the illusion magic of Gild broke, revealing his true face.

"Oh! What a surprise!" Gild got even more alert because of what happened, he knows very well that a guy like him can't handle a being like Life. Grim is also surprised at what he saw the man he thought he knew for 18 years was lying to him all along.

"Long time no see old friend, I see that you chose to hide in my city, and here I thought that you died that day." Gild put his hands in front of Grim as if trying to protect him.

"Is that your kid?" Life asked while he looked at Grim who looked frightened. He moved a step forward and the father and child backwards.

"Now, now, don't be scared I just wanted to take a look closer look."

Gild casted a barrier. "Don't you dare touch him."

Life looked puzzled, and looked at the boy again, then he laughed.

"Ah! I see now! I see how it is!" Life shouted with his hands in face laughing eerily.

Grim fell down in his knees. He just can't understand what's happening right now.

"What, all this time, who are you? Are you really my dad?" Grim asked.

"No, I'm not, but someday. Someday I hope you understand." Gild said to Grim and smiled

"Hahaha, but to think that all this time, Arthur, you never told this dirty soul the truth, about how-"

Life dashed so fast, Gild turned around and tried to use teleportation magic but before it activated, Life cut off his head cleanly.

"and how this little one is an abomination." Life continued, Gild's head fell to the ground and his body fell on its knees. Grim can't understand what happened, he just stared at his father's corpse in front of him.

He tried to call him but Gild did not respond.

"Dad?" Life heard what Grim called Gild.

"Dad?! Really? That trash isn't your father! Anyway, no point in discussing with you since you both got to be together in void."

And so, Life stabbed Grim in the stomach with his hands, Grim coughed blood, Life did not stopped though he moved his hands all the way up, so Grim's upper body split in half. Life called and summoned a knight with his magic and told the knight to clean up the bodies and mess. The knight bowed and used a spatial magic to get rid of Gild and Grim's bodies along with their bloods. The knight threw their bodies in the sea.

"Their dirty souls aren't even worth feasting upon." Life said as he flew back to his church.

At the beach, just around the border of Whiteshore city a pack of wolves was hunting, the leader stopped and howled making all the other wolves stop. The leader of the wolves, has a shining black fur and white fur at the neck that looks like a scarf. The leader walked at the beach just to see a shining necklace with one purple stone and a fishing hook beside the stone, the necklace was not the only one washed at the shore, a boy whose upper body was split in half and a headless body, the head of the headless body was nowhere to be found. The wolf got shocked when the hands of the body who was split in half moved. It did not know if it was just a reflex, but the wolf decided to bring the boy's body along with the necklace.
