The wind blowing on my skin soothes me
It Whispers “here I am”
My eyes are drawn to the moonlight glistening on the shallow creek
The scent of rosemary invading my nostrils crooning me to sleep
I drift off and dream the dreams of life and death
Pondering of love and friendship
Misery and joy
“I love you my dears, may you crumble and die painfully”
Death wasn’t on my side this time
The painful scars being created as days go by
Detached from life
Then I remember
The enchanting sight of the Jack O'Lantern Bird Bath
Sadly I can only gaze at it from afar
For its beauty is deadly
Might its elegance draw you in
Remember to crumble
And die
Painfully
