Sani pushed the door open and stepped into the shadowy room. Hyeon vaguely saw him do a deep bow and exchanged quiet words with the mysterious “Master.” He couldn’t hear what they were saying. Sani motioned for him to join them.
Nervously scuffling his feet on the floor, he entered the dark chambers. The curtains covered the windows, so no natural light came through. The only illumination source originated from the dim candle-lit torches on the wall.
He noticed a massive dog silhouette lying down in front of the desk nearby… and froze, knees growing weak. The aura screamed at him to run and go!
T-t-that…!
The beast’s height could easily graze the ceiling if it stood up. Besides its obvious canine form, the only feature on their face he could see in this damned darkness was the murderous glow of their golden eyes, focused on Hyeon.
What in the Ghost Hunter’s shit is thi—It lunged at him quicker than he could finish his thought. Hyeon let out a squeak and squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the fangs to rip into his body limb by limb. Instead, a hand wrapped around his throat… and lips pushing against his. Desperate. Deprived.
Stunned by the sudden mouth invasion, Hyeon tried to speak up but the attempt to talk only allowed this intruder’s tongue to slip in. Hyeon’s body reacted unexpectedly as he grew frail from the tongue kissing, melting into it. A flow of tingles left his chest.
Why am I so weak? Wha…
After an eternity, the assaulter let go of Hyeon. His knees couldn’t support his weight and he fell to the floor hard, chest reeling from… whatever that was! He tried to think while wiping off the spit sliding down his chin. Then.. sensed something he absolutely shouldn’t be feeling right now… down there. During the onslaught, Hyeon had become hard, now straining against his pants uncomfortably.
Fucking hell!
Sani clicked his tongue. “I requested a gentle greeting, My Lord,” Sani said in a quiet, sympathetic voice.
Royally angrily, Hyeon looked up, glaring to confront that bastard. Since his eyes became adjusted to the dim light, it was much easier to see… until being face to face with a person looking down on him rather than an animal. Heavy charcoal smoke slid off of the man’s body, dissipating into the air. Hyeon recollected how Blue and Sani had smoke around them, too, when shifting.
Hyeon didn’t have a type, but this wolf-man would make anyone stop dead and recruit him relentlessly. A rare amber color in his eyes replaced the sinister yellow glow from earlier. Midnight black hair rested mid-neckline and his bangs pooled over his forehead and ears. His height had shrunk to be normal, but still taller than Hyeon. His chest and shoulder contour hinted he was strong. The canine ears and long, black nails were the only evidence of him being a…
A demon? A god?
“Þú færð hœttr einn þessi tími, Koyote,” he deeply growled. (“You brought a dangerous one this time, Coyote”).
Sani replied, “Er hann? Ek hugsumk hann munu munu góð fyrir þú.” (“Is he? I thought he would be good for you”).
What in the world are they saying?!
“Ek knáttfeelr hann er hann entereð hí. Ek hugsumk þat var mjrök sterkr óvinr ok ek hafði til sjá ek sjálfr.” (“I could feel him when he entered here. I thought he was a powerful enemy and I had to see myself”).
He said everything without breaking eye contact with Hyeon. Studying him. Scrutinizing him. Hyeon had never heard this language before, but the tone was enough to know that it wasn’t friendly.
His member’s throbbing finally subsided. Hyeon knew since he was young that he preferred to feel a physical connection before being with someone in such a way. So much so that he hadn’t found that connection yet with another guy, but somehow, he got hard for this pervert! Blood rushed to his cheeks and ears, turning them red and hot.
Sani helped Hyeon get on his feet. He said carefully, “This is the Master of Festr Castle and the ruler of Festrheim. I’m not sure you’re familiar with the Norse gods?"
Stumped, Hyeon stuttered, “I-I…” Damn, get a grip. “I know some of them, I guess,” he said slowly.
Because of the movies.
“You’ll be serving Odin’s grandson, Thor’s nephew, and Loki’s son—all in one package. He has been imprisoned longer than you can fathom. Please meet Fenrir, the giant wolf of Old Norse royalty.”
