2 pm, Konstantine’s Apartment

A week has passed since the encounter between Konstantine and Shaylon, and no contact has been made yet. The utter silence remains as Konstantine sat on his bed, thinking of what he should do regarding Shaylon.

He still couldn’t forget so easily about Shaylon. Konstantine’s stuck in between to either visit his club or still try to ignore. The choices are jumping back and forth. The longer the wait of the decision, the more stress he is building up upon the choices.

Realization starts to hit on Konstantine and says, “Why didn’t I think of this?”, he stood up from his bed and grabs a coin to decide. “This is now or never.”, said Konstantine to himself as he makes the fate decider with heads being to ignore and tails being to visit Shaylon.

He flicks. The coin gets tossed turning over many times to be counted by the eye. As it went to the ground, the coin bounced a bit, then stops. Konstantine sees what went up, and the decision has been made.

5:10 pm, Winter Wolf Club

Konstantine, wearing a dark-grey hoodie, black wrist accessories, green pants, and violet Jordan 1s, enters the Winter Wolf Club. The crowd is a bit less compared to his first visit. He looked around to see if Shaylon’s around, there is no sign of him.

He sits at the bar where he met Shaylon, he looked at the crowd, a flashback of last week came to his head. Konstantine held his head from thinking of the event. From there, a glass of water is given from a bartender.

Konstantine looked back and sees the glass, knowing that he didn’t order. “Uh, Sir? I didn’t-”, Konstantine got interrupted by the bartender commenting, “It’s from the boss.”, this made Konstantine recall that Shaylon has ownership.

Out of curiosity, Konstantine calls the bartender and asks, “What’s the boss like when he’s around?”, the bartender sees the curiosity and replies, “Well, he’s so genuine, cares about others, and humorous. That’s all I know.”, Konstantine is pleased with the knowledge. “Thanks.”, the bartender went back to work after hearing Konstantine’s gratitude.

Konstantine couldn’t help but think of what to say once he meets Shaylon again. He takes the glass and takes a drink. “Hey, Cameron.”, Konstantine looked at the corner of his eye and sees Shaylon, causing him to choke then spray water out of his mouth.

That took Shaylon by surprise and made him worry by asking, “You okay?”, “No!”, Konstantine instantly responds looking at Shaylon. Both of them are surprised at each other regarding how close their faces were.

Konstantine realizes and backs off saying, “Sorry.”, Shaylon sees the discomfort on Konstantine’s face again. “It’s okay. It was my fault that you were surprised.”, that managed to calm Konstantine down as Shaylon sits down after he said that.

The situation made it awkward between the two. Both being nervous about what to say next, Shaylon decides to break the silence asking, “So, how was your week been?”, Konstantine answered in a stressed manner replying, “It’s been alright, so far.”

Shaylon clearly sees Konstantine trying to hide that he is stressed. “Hey, come with me.”, Konstantine heard what Shaylon said. He asks in reply, “Where?”, “Outside.”, Shaylon immediately responded to Konstantine as he stood up off his chair and goes to the back exit. Unsure of what is Shaylon planning Konstantine ended up following him.

“Hey, could you at least tell me wh-”, an unbelievable sight interrupted Konstantine. “You say something?”, Shaylon didn’t hear clearly what Konstantine said as he was focused on taking him for a ride. Konstantine looked at the car that Shaylon has. He questions, “How did you even manage?”, Shaylon got confused at the question, then he sees where Konstantine is pointing at. “Oh, they are now legal.”, “Really?”, “Yeah, besides I always wanted this car.”, Shaylon responded immediately when Konstantine questioned.

Konstantine takes another quick glance at the car and says as he enters, “Hard to believe that someone who owns a club happens to own a Nissan GTR.”, “Why? Have you ever thought of riding one?”, Shaylon questions Konstantine’s knowledge. To which he replied, “Never, actually.”, considering that he captured a suspect who did own a Nissan GTR.

5:35 pm

At a bar with fewer people than Winter Wolf, Konstantine and Shaylon are seated with their respective drinks. Shaylon has a beer, while Konstantine has an iced tea.

“Why are we here again?”, Konstantine asked figuring if there is a reason Shaylon brought him here. He had no choice but to point out, “There’s clearly something wrong.”, Konstantine was shocked at the response remembering what happened between him and Riley.

Konstantine gives in, says to himself, “I’m really letting myself vulnerable, am I?”, Shaylon surprisingly heard that. “You’re right. There is something wrong.”, Konstantine continues then brings up the dinner table incident he had with Riley saying, “I talked to my colleague at a restaurant dinner table, one thing led to another, And I’m not sure if we are gonna be the same.”

Shaylon became more worried about Konstantine. He desperately asks, “Is that stressing you out?”, “Not that it is a big issue, but I’m not sure if I could relieve myself from that.”, Konstantine replied in defense to not worry Shaylon.
