Chapter 17: The Rare Races

" Just what the hell are you?!" Zakuro yelled at Rem. Sakura had wanted us all to meet her in the school's library. She was talking about this group Black Magic and how their related to my kiddnapping. Then this girl named Raina appeared and starting talking to us. Then three more people appeared, one was a boy named Daijiro, Raina's sister April, and another boy named Rem. They were about to leave when Zakuro cast as blinding spell on Rem. Which he was somehow able to break with easies. I've never seen anyone break Zakuro's spell so fast and without any problems. "Like I said this spell is good for someone who's weak." Rem replyed.

"I'll show you who's weak." Zakuro was about to cast another spell. It was then that I noticed something about them. They were giving off the sint of four of the rarer races. One of them was giving off the sint of a water nymph and the other the power of an angel. The last two were an succubus and one who is a decandeant of the oringal werewolfs.

"Zakuro wait!" I yelled as I grabbed her arm. "These guys aren't like the rest of us. Each one of them is from one of the rarer races. Their stronger then they look."

"What, Are you sure? How can you tell?" She looked almost sacred.

"Yes, I'm postive. Because I'm part vampire my sense are more heighten and have an easier time sensing these things."

Raina smiled, "You really should listen to your friend."

I looked at them ."What do you want?"

"You aren't as stuipd as you look. But you really should have picked up on us sooner." She shuggered her shoulders. "And this is the girl who's going to save us." She turned to walk away then looked back at me. "You've got a long way. And the next we met, be prepared for the fight of your life. This is just the beinning." She then gave me a wicked smile and hurried to catch up with the others.

Once they were gone it was quit, no one knew what to say. Everything we just heard shocked us. They were stronger then any of us, even me. Then finally Maria broke the silcene. "Mika, what did you mean by 'the rarer races'?"

Sakura sat back down, "That's right since you and Shin have lived in the human all your life you don't know about the rarer races."

Kenji started walking around the room. "The rarer races, they are the oldest of all the races. Some believe that the other races oringaled from them."

"They are stronger then most of the other races. They are the only ones with enough power to dare changlle the vampires and demons." Zakuro said.

"Even with that power they still don't have enough of their own kind to take on the vamps and demons." I said. "There are five rarer races totally, nymphs, angels, and succubus, along with the two oringal clans, werewolfs and vampires."

"But how can the vamps and weres but part of the rarer races? There are thousands of them." Shin asked.

"The oringal weres and vamps were more animal and had animal forms. Weres had the appear of a manwolf ceature and vamps had the appear of batlike creatures. But somehow they've evovled into more human looking creatures and have gained a human like nature. Even todays pureblooded vamps and weres aren't form the orinalga clans. Human made vamps and weres don't count at all." Sakura said. "Anyway there are other rare races like the Yuki-onna and fairires. These are just two of the sevearl rare groups. The rarer races get their name from the fact that their races are rare and that most of them chose to stay in hiding."

No one felt like talking after we explained the rarer races, so we all went back to our dorms. But I stayed behide and grabbed Sakura. "Mika, what is it?" she asked. I looked at her. "Tell me everything you know about Black Magic and Kenji."
