I have finally arrived at the Audley Estate as a scholar of my benefactor Marquess Roanne Audley. He had summoned me over so I could learn at close range the dynamics of house management. I may as well be considered a butler in training except I am short of its pre-requisites. The Audleys only ever have a lord or someone related to noble blood to be their butler. Their current is the talented 50-year-old Mr Johan Burnswick, a cousin twice removed of Earl Langston. Tomorrow I am expected to meet the marchioness and their daughter at the breakfast table. My lordship requires me to document my stay here hence this entry. It is to make taking notes a habit.
