NARUTO wakes up to hear loud banging on the door of his apartment. He groggily makes his way out of bed and opens his front door to see SAKURA and SASUKE glaring at him from his doorway.

SAKURA: Naruto, you’ve made us all late for training!! We’ve been waiting for you almost an hour. At this point, Kakashi-sensei will probably be waiting for US!!

SASUKE: You idiot.

NARUTO: Aaah, really?! Well, wait one second. I’ll get ready super fast, believe it!!

NARUTO slams the door and rushes off to his room to get dressed. SASUKE shakes his head and SAKURA groans.

SAKURA: Naruto is so annoying, he is always ruining EVERYTHING for the rest of us!!

SASUKE: Hn.

NARUTO opens his door again, now fully dressed.

SAKURA: Finally!! What took you so long?!

NARUTO: I’m sorry!! I went as fast as I could, but I couldn’t find my headband!

SAKURA: NARUTO!!

SAKURA, NARUTO and SASUKE head off to meet KAKASHI. When they arrive, KAKASHI is already there waiting for them under the shade of a tree, reading his book.

KAKASHI: There you three are! I was starting to get worried. Who would've thought there would be a day where I wait for you guys!

SAKURA: I’m so sorry, Kakashi-sensei!! Sasuke and I were ready on time but Naruto made us late!

SAKURA POV: *That Naruto, I can’t STAND him!!*

NARUTO giggles nervously and scratches his head.

NARUTO: Oh, I’m sorry guys!

SASUKE: Idiot.

KAKASHI POV: *Those three. They always are getting into some sort of trouble, and it’s usually because of Naruto.*

KAKASHI: Well, today we have been assigned to a D-ranked mission. The plan is to visit the house of a very old, wise woman named Seraphina, and help her get rid of a cat that has been pestering her.

NARUTO groans at how unexciting he finds the mission. SAKURA looks annoyed as well, but she is less obvious about how she feels. Only SASUKE has on his usual, underwhelmed expression.

SAKURA: All right, well, we should get going.

NARUTO: Are you KIDDING?! We have to go babysit an old lady and a cat?! Aw, when are we going to get a real mission, Kakashi-sensei!!

KAKASHI: Don’t underestimate this cat, Naruto! If getting rid of it was easy, it would’ve been gone a long time ago.

NARUTO: I could get rid of it in two hours, believe it!

SAKURA POV: *Classic Naruto, always thinking he knows best when he doesn’t! Sasuke actually is great, but he doesn’t brag about it!*

SASUKE: Hn.
