Rose In The Academy:

     The story starts when a beautiful young woman named Cordelia Si Flora saves a child from falling on a window in a fifth floor inn, using her nature powers to produce vines and catch the child, safely landing him to the ground.

Everyone from the public market who saw the scene cheered for her which caught the attention of an imperial guard nearby. He reported the incident to the emperor of Bogdan so he ordered him to summon Cordelia.

The emperor of Bogdan, Luther De Abel became interested in Cordelia after he noticed that the young woman has many potentials which can be a great asset to the empire in the future so he thought of giving her an offer.

Cordelia was granted a full scholarship to Bogdan Academy but in exchange, she will be working under the empire after she graduates. Since Cordelia has little money and only has her mother, a house and a land that her late father left, she decided to take the offer to give her mother a better life and restore their property's beauty.

Bogdan Academy is the school for rich nobles who possess magics that they called "gifts". Commoners and children from poor nobles are unable to attend since enrolling cost a lot of money which made them clueless when it comes to properly manifesting their powers.

You need to study for four years at the academy to graduate. Since Cordelia is smart, she took and passed the acceleration exam so she was immediately shifted to third year together with the other nobles who are at the same age as her which is seventeen.

On her first day of school, she woke up late after grinding an all-nighter at the small bakery her family owns, now she is catching her breath as she runs to school since they have no coachman to drive their carriage and was too poor to hire one. She bumps into a tall handsome young man with silver hair and purple eyes who she caught sneaking in the fences to get inside and pass the guards.

The young man was amazed by her beauty, long curly blonde hair and beautiful light brown eyes. He offers her to sneak inside together to which Cordelia refuses at first but ends up agreeing for the sake of not affecting her good grades for being late.

He introduced himself as Eros Uy Apollo, a viscount's son. Cordelia also introduces herself as a baron's daughter and was granted a scholarship by the emperor.

The two of them eventually became friends and as time passes, they both fell in love with each other.They even secretly meet to a place they only discovered.

Eros is quite a lady's man, the reason he fell in love with Cordelia is because she is the first person who rejects his flirts. Cordelia on the other hand, fell in love with him since he is the first person in the academy who accepted her and became her first friend.

Cordelia was already in love with Eros before she discovered that he was actually the crown prince, Angeal De Abel. He actually disguised himself to hide his identity to other nobles.

Cordelia felt so betrayed that she begins to ignore the crown prince even though she already loves him. She also thinks that a daughter of a poor baron like her is not a match for a crown prince who will become the next emperor.

Daphne Il Viva, the crown prince's fiance and the spoiled daughter of the Prime Minister of Bogdan also a duke's daughter started to bully Cordelia after she knew that Cordelia and the crown prince had been hanging out with each other.

There's also the main villain of the novel, Cain El Blanc, the son of a duke who believes that Cordelia is the girl he met when he was a child.

Cain and Angeal are revealed to be cousins. Cain's mother is the sister of the emperor, the two young men shared a rivalry ever since they were young. Always being compared to each other but Angeal was always pointed to be the better one.

Cain was actually an abused child, his parents only got married for political reasons. Cain's father, Gedeon El Blanc is a notorious womanizer and is always out. He only goes home when his mother is not around to bring women.

Cain's mother, Duchess Elainne El Blanc being a former princess has her own duties like how she was forced to leave her true lover to get married to Duke El Blanc. She vents her anger on Cain whenever she discovers that her husband went home with another woman and her another reason is that because Cain is the spitting image of Gedeon who reminds her of his infidelity.

One day, Cain manifested his gift and accidentally killed his mother while Elainne was sober in alcohol and was beating him up. Everyone hated him after the incident and he grew up without friends.

One of his father's women even tries to take advantage of him but he also kills her accidentally to defend himself. The only person who cared for him is his nanny Claire, who was actually a spy to kill him.

Eventually, he killed her after he found out her true plan to poison him even though she begs down to her knees to spare her life. The young boy who was once a very cheerful child became the person that everyone fears.

Cain has started to lost his trust to others but his cold heart was melted when he met a young girl whom he believes is Cordelia, offered him a chocolate and smiles to him to which no one had ever did to him.

Cain fell in love with Cordelia for giving him warmth but Cordelia was already in love with his rival, Angeal.

Daphne kidnaps Cordelia out of jealousy and plans to kill her. Cain was angry when he learned Daphne's plans since he hired a person to stalk Cordelia and gather information.

Cain rescues Cordelia and was forced to kill Daphne for almost killing Cordelia. Cordelia was terrified of Cain and told him that she only loves Angeal, she also told him that she will never love a murderer.

He was deeply hurt by her words and decides to take her for himself, he traps her in an abandoned manor in the center of the forest but Angeal frees Cordelia and finally confess their feelings for each other after they got back to the Academy.

Cain was really angry and jealous that he follows them to the academy to kill Angeal and take Cordelia back. Cain's power went out of control which made him kill several innocent students in the academy.

In the end, Angeal defeated him which made Cain kill himself using his own powers, since he doesn't have any will to live anymore. He gave Cordelia a warm smile and telling her that he loves her before he fades like a dust and was blown by a dusk of wind.

Angeal and Cordelia graduated and the two of them finally receives their blessings from the emperor and got married. The innocent students who died were buried near the academy. Daphne was mourned deeply by her family especially her father.

But Cain...no one mourned Cain...he was only remembered as the villain by everyone.

The "Rose in the Academy" was actually a tragic love triangle.

I feel so bad for Cain...

Growing up with no friends, has an abusive parents and the person whom he first cared about, Claire betrays him. He lost his trust to people...

The only person who made him alive again was Cordelia but he also lost her so he decided to kill himself...

But you know what?

I actually don't feel THAT sorry for him!

Why you ask?

It's because this story is made by my friend in my past life. The character here who has the same name as me died!

She was mentioned to be one of the innocent students who died and was buried near the school just because of a ridiculous love triangle!

I transmigrated here as that character but I won't let myself die! I must befriend the villain before he turns evil and for me to live peacefully!

There's still two years before the heroine appears! I can do this!

I'll graduate peacefully, build my own business and live the life of luxury on my own!
