I had began to loose track of exactly how long I had been here, the phases of the moon my only judgment of time. I was barely Allowed out into the city and when I was Thomas kept a grip on me as if I was a prisoner, he barely spoke to me as he was always away hunting or working. He would bring home dinner and have forceful sex with me before he went to bed, I had one freind in all this Lucas he often would sit with me teaching me of there culture.

I sat In bed reading one of my books this morning as Thomas was gone before I woke up.

But the door opened making me jump seeing Thomas he came in and kissed my head before gathering his hunting stuff

"Uhh Thomas..." I began trying to get a conversation out of him "where are you going?"

"Hunting"

"Where will you be hunting?" I asked he looked confused and held my hand a moment he took me to the window and pointed out to the woods close by the mountain he said some words I didn't understand but having listened with Lucas I was starting to pick up odd things "moon woods?"

"Moon woods" he nods

"Could I come?" I asked but he looked confused

"Wife...hunt?" He asked and I nodded "wife come hunting?" He asked more to himself "no, not good for tummy, for seed"

"Please Thomas" I begged holding his hands "I just want to learn about you and your people I want to spend time with you your always away"

He thought a moment before he squeezed my hands

"Pretty wife... Can come hunting"

"Yay! Thank you Thomas" I smiled hugging him tightly

"Only if... Wife won't... No anymore" he suggested stuggling with his words

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Wife can hunt, if wife won't no anymore" he smirked tugging on my dress

"Ooh, so I can come If I don't say no anymore?" I asked and he nodded I thought a moment but I knew I had no way out of it so I nodded

"Dress, back... Soon" he says kissing my head and going outside so I got a good dress on and headed out into the city soon enough Thomas found me keeping a hawk like grip on me as usual as we walked out of town, as we did some other Vampri man came close to me growling at me and showing his sharp teeth, Thomas held me tighter slightly behind him growling back at the man till he backed away strangely I began to think maybe he was just trying to be protective in his people's.. strange little way. We found Lucas in our way out and he offered to come with us, Thomas agreed begrudgingly, Once we arrived at the forest I held onto the things while Thomas hunted much like a wolf or lion often running off only to return moments later with something sometimes he put it away others he just ate it snapping bones and drinking the blood of whatever animal he has stumbled across.

"Are they all like this?" I asked

"Somewhat hunting is usually a game the Vampir endulge in but hardly ever royals, but clearly your husband isn't exactly going to be defeating his brothers In a battle of strength so he hunts" Lucas explained

"I see... Are Vampri usually protective of there women?" I asked

"Always, women are a strange part of there culture they believe women have but one purpose-" he began

"To be seeded and birth children?"

"Yes, what's interesting about that is the way they do so, to Vampri a woman is useless until she births a son, but it is an honour to have a woman carry your seed, when a women is pregnant she is like a goddess to her husband, it's why they are so protective of there women, and why they fight over them so much" he explained "no doubt Thomas has already began to be protective of you princess"

"But why I'm not pregnant?"

"No, but your his bride, and someday likely soon you will be pregnant with his child, until his first son his father will not respect him, he must protect you from others to ensure his family line" he explained

Thomas then came back with a couple more animals I knew I was looking at him strangely he was confused by wiped some blood from his mouth to give my cheek a kiss

"Wife... Good?" He Asks and I nodded but before I could answer anything else Lucas screamed and we turned seeing a rather large black wolf I was frozen with fear as Lucas dropped to the floor, Thomas instantly hid me behind him growling back at this wolf as it stood looking to attack I was so frightened but noticed the knife Thomas had on his belt for skinning animals I grabbed it moving out from behind him much to his anger and panic I threw the knife hitting the wolf in its eye I grabbed the sword I had brought with me and screamed cutting at whatever came near me until there was quite I looked and I had cut off the wolves head, Lucas sat stunned and Thomas looked at me with a look I didn't at all understand until he dropped his things and ran hugging me tight saying all sorts of things to me I didn't understand

"Uhh what's he saying?" I asked

"My wife.. my angel, my queen... My Huntress" Lucas translated I noticed thomas repeating the last one over and over while he kissed me

"My... Beautiful Huntress" Thomas smiled holding my hands nuzzling his head in my own

"Aww I think you have a pet name princess" Lucas laughed going to playfully hit my arm but Thomas growled at him pulling me tight to his chest

"My wife!" He yelled "my Huntress"

"Okay okay I wasn't doing anything" Lucas backed off going to sort our things I giggled a little hugging Thomas close nuzzling into his skin

"Thomas?" I asked and he smiled fixing my hair for me "bed?" I suggest and he smirked

"Once home... My Huntress" he smiled kissing my head
