What the hell am I thinking? I just invited Malikai in. My BOYFRIEND is in the bedroom asleep like always. What do I do? Ughhhhh… I don't even want a criminal as a mate. It makes no sense. Why would the moon goddess do this? AND TO ME OF ALL PEOPLE!

"So are you gonna tell me why I'm here?" Startled, I turn to him.

"Oh.. Umm.. Well I figured you would want something to drink or eat. Just.. just help yourself." I kinda laugh and smile awkwardly.

"Oh.. okay?" Malikai responds confused. Dude, me too. I have no idea why I invited him. Jesse is gonna be mad. I know it.

"Also that pull you felt, it means that… we.. are.. fated mates." He laughed. He just fucking laughed at me.

"No offense but that stuff is made up. You could have just said you like me. I mean you are cute and my type." No fucking way. He did not. Imma kill him. That's it. He's dead.

"Are you flirting with me?"

"Maybe. What are you gonna do about it?" He says that as he slowly gets closer to me. At this point I'm completely against the wall. I want to say something about my boyfriend but I also don't want to. Oh my God. This makes me sound like I'm not loyal.

"Not gonna say anything? Okay. Then what about if I do this." He kissed me ever so lightly. I stood there with my eyes closed. Malikai laughed and walked out the door.

"Max, what the fuck just happened?" Jesse was standing in the kitchen door.

"Umm… I.. uhhh.." shit I can't form a damn sentence.

"You know what. Imma act like this didn't happen and you're gonna be a good little omega. Now get changed and come lie down with me."

"Oh… um.. okay. I'll be there in a minute, okay?" Hopefully he says yes.

"NOW, Max." Fuck me.

"Okay, I'm coming." Jesus. He was never like this before. I walk in the bedroom, change, and go to sleep. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
