Why was my alarm so much louder than usual? I turned over drowsily.
Ten a.m.
I was about to go back to sleep when I realised--class. I sat up as fast as humanly possible, and instantly regretted it. I groaned, the side of my head throbbing with agony. Black dots swam in front of me as I stumbled to the bathroom, clutching my aching head like it was going to fall off my shoulders.
After retching for a good twenty minutes, I stepped into the shower. The cold water cascaded down my neck, reviving me a little. I wrapped a towel around my waist, my headache now a dull throbbing behind my eyes. I should take some painkillers. I stepped out of my room, and into the living room.
My eyes widened.
"WHAT THE FUCK???" I screamed, and the volume of my own voice made me wince. There was a shirtless boy lying on my couch. He propped himself onto his elbows, his dark hair messy and all over the place. "Good morning," he smiled a little. My cheeks flushed bright red as I attempted to cover my chest. He stood up, heading to the kitchen. "Wait, what, why are you-what are you doing in my house?" I stumbled over my words, trying not to scream because of my headache. I followed him into the kitchen, standing helplessly as he rummaged through the cabinets.
"You got very, very drunk at the 'orientation' yesterday, so I had to bring you here." I cringed as I vaguely remembered being sat in a circle of people, downing shot after shot of vodka. "You vomited on our shirts too, so I threw them into the washing machine," My face heated up even more as I remembered yelling at him as he attempted to help me out of my vomit-soaked hoodie. "Oh...sorry, and uh, thanks I guess," I mumbled meekly.
"It's no big deal. Here, take these," he handed me some painkillers, "I'll make you some eggs, I heard they help with hangovers," he said good-naturedly. I stammered my thanks, downing the pills and watching quietly as he cooked up some scrambled eggs. My eyes drifted towards the hypnotic movements of his well-defined shoulder blades. I flinched as he turned around to hand me my plate, pink colouring my pale cheeks. He took a seat next to me.
"Eat up,"
