After driving for a few kilometers, the recruit stops at a parking lot located in a remote zone of the city.

He leaves the driving seat and goes to check the rescued passengers. They were slowly regaining their consciousness, one among them quickly reacted after being touched by the recruit.

Erika says "What do you think you're doing?"

Paragon says "I was just checking your vitals."

Erika says "I'm feeling weird... you probably did something while I was asleep..."

Paragon says "The only thing I did was save you and these other people."

Erika says "Saving?... from what? Wait... where are we... and who are you with these weird clothes?"

Before the recruit could answer the questions made by the woman before him, the other two who also had woken up, got out of the car to see what was happening.

Keiko says "Hey mister, what is going on?"

Rei says "I'm just as clueless as you are... my mind is a bit foggy right now..."

Paragon says "That's expected. You were captured and kept in a stasis tube for a few hours or even days. It may take a few minutes or even hours to fully recover from that."

Rei says "Stasis tube? How do you know that?"

Paragon says "I just rescued you from there... I shouldn't say my real name during an operation, but if that makes you feel more comfortable, I'm Tenma and I work for a special division."

Keiko says "Oh! Are you a special agent, like James Bond, mister?"

Paragon says "Not exactly..."

Erika says "That sounds made up..."

Rei says "Now that you've mentioned... I kinda remember being chased by some people... I can't remember what exactly happened though...

Anyway... let's pretend you're telling the truth. Why would you 'rescue' us from the bad guys and take us to a badly illuminated parking lot?"

Erika says "He brought us here because he is a pervert, I bet."

Keiko says "Maybe there is a secret entrance for his base of operations around here, like in those tokusatsu shows..."

Tenma (Paragon) says "No, not really."

Rei says "Then what?"

Tenma (Paragon) says "We're here because this place isn't monitored and also, because it is big enough for that jet to land."

The group suddenly notices a strong gust of air that comes from nowhere and, before they can even try to look around for the source, a plane of unconventional design shows up above their heads.

Keiko says "Whaaaaaa...?!"

Rei says "Where the hell this thing came from?!"

Paragon says "This is a special airplane. It's engines emit close to zero noise from a distance, so you can't really notice it approaching until it's very close."

Erika says "Doesn't look fancy enough to impress me."

The small airplane slowly descends until it lands in the middle of the parking lot.

A few moments later, one of its lateral doors opened. The semicircular shape straightens forming an access ramp and, from the interior, a tall muscular man in a military uniform steps outside. The pilot of the jet remains inside awaiting further instructions.

Commander Hyperion says "I see that you are already recovering. Good job, Tenma."

Tenma (Paragon) says "I did what I could sir. But without the Agent's help this wouldn't be possible, I hope she is well..."

Commander Hyperion says "She is... in fact, she is right over there..."

The group notices a motorcycle moving closer to their position with great speed. The biker then makes the vehicle drifts with a sudden break, drawing an arc on the asphalt with the movement.

Agent says "Hey there, sorry for being late. I see that you've made it out well before blast."

The woman in crimson clothes leaves the motorcycle and walks towards the group, they wait until everyone is nearby before continuing with what they were saying.

Commander Hyperion says "Now that everyone's here we can continue..."

Erika says "Wait... you look familiar..."

Keiko says "I think I've seen the mister before as well."

Commander Hyperion says "You might have... I'm known as Hyperion and I'm the commander of the Densetsu division."

Rei says "Densetsu division? What's that?"

Erika says "Hyperion... you can't be him... are you serious?"

Keiko says "W-wait... Hyperion!? The Hyperion from the Telos V!? The hero!?"

Commander Hyperion says "Yes... I guess most people still remember me from that group... even though it was disbanded a long time ago."

Rei says "So why are you here... meeting us in the middle of nowhere if you're such an important person?"

Commander Hyperion says "I want to invite you to come with us. You'll be safe in our headquarters and we can talk more once we get there.

The people who captured you might still look for you, in fact, they could be tracking this location as we speak..."

Rei says "Why do they have such interest in us in the first place?"

Tenma (Paragon) says "Because you are like me. A Code Breaker."

Commander Hyperion says "Exactly... some of you might have noticed it before, maybe some of you don't. Anyway, it is true that you all have the potential to break your genetic codes and the people who captured you also knew that.

We've been trying to track down their activity for some time now, they've been capturing people with powers for some kind of experiment. We've got lucky this time, however, because we've been monitoring the three of you for some time. That way we could pinpoint the location you were kept."

Erika says "You've been monitoring us...?"

Commander Hyperion says "In our division we try to keep tabs on all active Code Breakers in our country, it's not like we were invading your privacy... we just want to make sure people aren't using their powers for illegal activities...

There were increasing incidents lately involving Code Breakers and we suspect they're also connected to the experiments conducted by the ones that captured you. That's why it is safer for you to come with us.

You're also invited to come with us Agent Akagi. I've sent a formal request for your agency, but it is up to you to decide, your talents will be certainly helpful in future operations."

Akagi (Agent) says "Yeah... I've already been informed about that by my superiors. It'll be an honor to work with you sir."

Commander Hyperion says "It is settled then. Let's all get inside the jet, we can talk more once we get to the HQ. We shouldn't really stay any longer around here."

Still uncertain on what they were getting themselves into, these young people decided to accept the invitation. At least for now, moving to a safer location was the wisest decision to be taken.

They couldn't imagine that this single decision would change their lives forever.

Keiko says "I've always wanted to fly in a jet like this, yahoo!"

Erika says "Surprisingly, it is not half bad here."

Rei says "This thing doesn't really look that safe... where's the seat belts?"

Tenma (Paragon) says "Don't worry about that, this jet was built with technology far beyond a regular plane."

Akagi (Agent) says "I should've brought headphones... you guys are too noisy."

Commander Hyperion says "Okay Hara, take us to the Blackbox."

Pilot Hara says "Yes sir."

Rei says "Black Box? That's a weird name for a HQ..."

Erika says "It sounds shady."

Keiko says "It is a secret base! This is so cool!"

Akagi (Agent) says "This is going to be a long trip..."

Tenma (Paragon) says "Technically, it won't, the jet is pretty fast..."

Akagi (Agent) says "That's not what I meant..."

Following the commander's instructions, the pilot makes the small plane rapidly ascend vertically, being pushed forward by the lateral jet engines that get activated afterwards, gaining incredible speed in a matter of seconds.

No one in that jet knew it for sure, but this is the start of a new age of heroes, an age of legendary Code Breakers.
