I swing my sword at Sades, but my attack is stopped by a magic type I hoped I would never encounter.

My attack is blocked by a clear red barrier.

“What the hell!”

I shout out.

I need to find an opening, perhaps when he attacks me.

Sades makes two finger guns, I can see the magic energy gathering into his index fingers.

This could be my chance to attack him!

I charge at Sades, blade ready fully intending to take him out with this attack.

He shouts out his attack, “Eldritch Blast!”

Its not a ball!?

The shots fire into a cluster of Eldritch Blasts.

“Gah!”

I’ve been hit by four or five of them.

My chest piece has been completely shattered by the attack.

I cough up some blood.

I haven’t even landed a single hit on this bastard and he’s already got me on the ropes!?

No, this isn’t over yet.

I reach into my bag and pull out a restore potion.

I chug down the restore potion, and smash the bottle onto the ground.

I’m not gonna die here!

My feet planted into the stone cold ground.

Sades looks shocked at this second wind and he begins charging two more Eldritch Blasts.

I won’t allow it!

Gripping the sword as hard as I can, I start slashing his barrier.

I start shouting at the top of my lungs, “Faster, faster, faster, faster!”

I need more speed.

I’ll use Lightning Blade, but I cannot use it for long.

Lightning Blade allows me to continue swinging my sword without leaving myself open to an attack after a swing.

If I use it for anytime longer than ten seconds, my arms will rip themselves off.

“Lightning Blade!”

The sound of thunder cancels out my ability to hear temporarily.

My slashes are getting progressively faster.

My attacks are so fast I can’t even see my own strikes anymore, but I can only hope I’m hitting my mark.

I hear a loud noise, it sounds like glass shattering, and then in the next moment,

Sades gets sliced in half from the waist down.

“I’m not done with you yet!”

I yell out while straining my vocal cords.

I start charging my blade beam to finish him off.

My sword is glowing with a jade green light.

“Blade Beam!”

A beam shoots out of my blade, completely obliterating whatever was left of Sades.
