My father then began to explain about each of the races, starting with the dwarves. "Dwarves are much smaller than us, men have short arms and legs but are very strong, while women only have a shorter stature. Most dwarves have the reddest hair because of their affinity with fire, they are known mainly because of their skills as blacksmiths and their majestic constructions. They live near the elf kingdom, where there are many mines and mountains. We don't have a bad relationship with them, but it's not good either."
He stopped, thought for a while and talked again. "The elves, a shorter race compared to ours, but only as children and adolescents, where they are still only elves. When they reach adulthood and a certain level of training, they become purer elves and grow very fast, getting taller than us and their hair become very light with various shades of green. In the Elven kingdom, because they have more affinity with earth, water and wind, but there are just a few that can use two elements; there is a great respect and understanding about the forest that we cannot imagine. They thrive in an amazing way, they say it's because they live a lot, but I think it's because they understand the importance of where and from whom they live. Their kingdom borders our kingdom and the kingdom of dwarves. We are in the same situation of relationship with the dwarves."
"We come to humans, we are a race without much affinity, we can use all kinds of knowledge and feelings to use the elements but we are much weaker compared to the other races. We live much less and have a great difficulty in learning and controlling ourselves. We border three kingdoms, elves, beastmen, and demons." He seemed very concerned about everything he talked about, but I can't understand why, it seemed like everything was fine. Then he spoke again.
"The beast-men, they are big and strong, live in a very different way. They're half men and half beasts or animals. Humans have a kind of good relationship with them, I think it's because our leaders have more or less the same intellectual level. They like war and battles, but to not have so many deaths, they created various types of games and competitions, where each kingdom shows what is capable with its inhabitants, both as physical and spiritual practitioners. They have a greater affinity with the earth, having many of them, by brown to dark brown." He then became concerned again, it was only a race for him to explain. I know I'm a kid, but it seems like I can understand things easily.
My dad started talking again. "The demons... They are different from all races. They look more like us, but they have horns and wings, they're strong and smart. They live longer than elves, but have a smaller number. They have strange ideals, they keep saying very strange things that make people go to their lands and never come back. All kingdoms unite against them, but there have been no wars since 105 years ago. I don't know what to think of them, sometimes I get curious to know some of their secrets. Because like us, they have an affinity with all elements but they can't use them separately, they create another element. There are junctions of elements, such as some dwarves that have affinity with earth and fire creating magma, elves who have three types of affinity to have this great affinity with plants, which are a little earth, water and wind. But there are only royal elves who have all three."
He then finished talking, thought for a moment and realized he was talking to a 5-year-old. "I'm sorry, son, I think it was too complicated for you, but I felt i should say this so you shouldn't grow up and train without having a little bit of understanding of the world. For today it's just this, I'll see our plantation and you can rest a little, it's already darkening." So I went to my room thinking about all that, it was a little confusing but I had understood. I went by Mom and Dad's room and saw Mom sleeping, I think she was better. So I went into my room and tried to think about all that.
