Monster Idol.

Monster Idol Part 9.

Monster Idol Part 9.

Aug 04, 2020

The soldiers place covers over their heads, while putting them back in the van, as they are taken to an unknown location. Matt & Tyson are then forced to sit on chairs. They suddenly hear someone snap their fingers as their headcovers are removed. Disorientated, they look around finding themselves in a pleasant luxurious study room, where they see Elon Black sitting in a sturdy refined chair, grasping a glass of whiskey.

He was struck by their performance, which he found very entertaining and wanted to know more about them, as he sips from the glass. Matt & Tyson remain silent. Elon then gets up from his chair putting the glass down on the table, and walks toward them.

He holds up Matt's phone, playing the footage he filmed at the supermarket, asking Matt.

"Are you a spy and why did you hack our networks?"

Matt angrily replies that "I'm not a spy, and I recognize the truth about your show, and will expose it to the outside world. I'm an American citizen and have rights!" He also demands to know where Simon, Dean & Clark were.

To which Elon laughs contemptuously stating. "You have no rights at all!"

Charging them with espionage and terrorism which is a capital offense. And a cover story for their deaths would be provided to their government. Elon then explains how Monster Idol came about which was accidental. Due to a private episode of the show, which was filmed for the regime's entertainment being leaked somehow, which caused an international outcry.

Elon had advised the government to make the show public, selling it as a 'pretend' talent format. Because, in today's world he declares cynically, who would actually care or barely notice the difference. Matt asks Elon about the monsters and where they came from. Elon replies that it started as a military program to produce disposable shock troops, using a mix of gene editing and a drug called 'Sky'. Which provides euphoria and enhances physical abilities.

But after further tests, the military found that the drug had a dehumanizing effect. As repeated use of it or an overdose rots the brain, turning users into savages. They discovered this from having tested the drug mostly on convicted criminals. Elon reveals a couple of examples of people who appeared to be wild animals. Elon was able to dominate them with an implant placed inside their brains, which all the monsters had.

Elon genuinely enjoyed the raw power he possessed over them, teasing them for his amusement. Elon then makes it clear to Matt & Tyson they and all their friends would die in the show, having no chance of escape. To sufficiently prove his point, a smiling Elon switches on a large TV screen. Which starts playing the upcoming game called 'Move to the Music', as Matt & Tyson are forced to watch. As Elon abruptly leaves the room.

The game takes place in the B.T Tower, where monsters & contestants are placed at the top of the tower. And must race down thirty floors to the bottom and escape through the front door, while music is playing over loudspeakers, with screens spread across the interior.

When the music stops at random intervals, contestants & monsters have 10 seconds to quickly stand against a screen. To survive the 200,000 volts of electricity activated under the floor. Only a certain number of contestants are allowed to escape, once that amount is achieved anyone left inside the tower will be electrocuted.
