His eyes were black again, by the gods, what was she thinking. But that was just it she wasn’t thinking, she was just mad, pissed off that he grabbed her and wasn’t letting her go home. She swallowed hard and nodded quickly before he pushed off and stormed out of the room, Zuri laid still breathing heavily. She closed her eyes as she tried to calm down; she was scared and turned on at the same time. She didn’t even think that was possible.
She found herself entranced by his voice and wanted to hear it repeatedly. His deep voice sent vibration that rolled throughout her body and left her arching every time he stopped talking. She was sure if he had kept talking in the talking in the tunnel, he would have pulled a strong orgasm from the depths of her. Just the image of what he said about devouring her left her throbbing for him. She shook her head to clear the thought; no, she couldn’t let her body dictate what she needed. She needed to get out of this place and away from him before she succumbed to him.
He was carried a black box and something else small in his hand, he also put a robe on she noticed before she scurried to the other side of the couch. She shrieked as he grabbed her leg and pulled her towards him until her leg was over his.
“Stay still.” He demanded.
He was still pissed at her, she didn’t move. It couldn’t be good to piss off a demon look what happed the last time she did that, remembering Dimitra choking her close to death’s door. He took the arm she had cut on the fence and looked at it before opening the black door and pulling out wrapping and a green bottle.
“Sorry.” She winced as he worked on her arm.
“For?” his eyes shifted back to white.
She swallowed hard, “Biting you, I shouldn’t have not that.”
“No, you should not have. You ask for trouble when you do that especially with me.”
“Won’t happen again.”
“Only when I tell you,” he smirked
“What?” she stared at him with wide eyes.
He didn’t respond, just looked at her then went back to bandaging her arm. When he was done, he slipped a silver bracelet on her arm and clamped it shut then whispered something she couldn’t understand. She looked down at it; it was beautiful with strange symbols all around.
“What is this?”
“It is not important.” He turned and walked out the door.
She sat staring after him then a force pulled her off the couch with her arm the one, he placed the bracelet on pulling her along in the direction he went. She tried pulling her arm back with the other hand, but she continued to be dragging along.
When she was within three feet of him whatever it was stopped, and she was finally able to let her arm down. “Take it off.”
“No.” he casually leaned on the staircase leading to the second floor.
She looked stunned as if he had slapped her, then she narrowed her eyes at him moving to stand in front of him when he turned to go up the stairs.
“Take. It. Off. Now.” she accentuated each word.
He grinned which only made her angrier and she pushed passed him towards the front door, he turned again leaning on the staircase and watched her. She was dragged back to him; she screamed and stomped her feet then then glaring at him.
He laughed, “Come on, I need to sleep soon and would like to shower before I do since I have not had a chance too in a while.” As he went up the stairs.
“Not as if I have a choice. Wait…” she fumbled going up the stairs, “Shower? “
“Yes, we demons do that,” he turned around to face her; he leaned forward until his face was inches from hers. “Would you like to join me?”
She licked her lips then gulped before shaking her head, his gaze dropped to her lips and his eyes were purple before he said too bad and kept walking up the stairs.
You will not be seduced by a demon, she kept repeating in her head repeatedly, as she followed him. Plus, she was still pissed at him she reminded herself as she involuntary followed him through a door. His bedroom was like the one he was in before except the bed didn’t hover above the ground, it was a mix of purple, and black there was a computer in the corner near a large bookshelf filled with books. The bed itself was overly large; her guess was too accommodated his tall statue. She was still taken back by how normal everything looked as if it belonged to a normal person and not an incubus although she had no idea how incubuses lived. It just wasn’t what she pictured for someone of the demon world.
His bed looked over large to her but with his height and size; it must be a normal size for him. Images of her writhing beneath him as he explored her body and drove in and out of her flooded her mind. The realism and vehemence in them caused her to inhale sharply. She instantly looked at him to see that he stared at her with the same intensity and hunger that she felt as if he knew every image that played in her mind.
She turned to the bookshelf and walked towards it but was pulled back; this caused her to groan in frustration. He whispered into the bracelet on his wrist and then waved his hand to tell her it was okay now. She walked over as he walked through a door and closed it behind him, guessed he wasn’t worried about her running since she would just be dragged back to him and couldn’t get the damn thing off anyway.
Some of the books looked ancient; she had never seen anything like them before, some of them she was sure didn’t exist outside of this room. He was becoming more and more interesting as the morning went on, she yawned as she picked up a book from the shelf and read the title it was one of her favourite books, The Fall of The House of Usher. She opened the book and began to read some of it, it wasn’t one of the most well-known of Edgar Allen Poe’s, but it was beautiful none the least.
She was so engrossed in the book that she didn’t hear him come up behind her, “One of my favourites” she jumped from suddenly hearing him behind her. “Do you like it?”
She closed it and placed it back on the shelf, “Yes, it one of my favourites too.”
“Hmm.”
He stood behind her but didn’t say anything more which left her feeling uncomfortable especially since he was so close, and the scent of sandalwood, fresh pine trees and something she couldn’t quite place enveloped her. Instinctively she leaned in and breathed deeply taking in more of his scent, it was intoxicating, she wondered how anyone could smell that good. It shouldn’t be possible she thought. She yawned and covered her mouth; she cleared her throat and said sorry. He asked her when she last slept.
“Night before yesterday, I was on my way home when your girlfriend grabbed me.”
He held her by the shoulders and turned her around to face him before he tilted her chin up to look at him, “Dimitra is not my girlfriend. If you need help remembering that I can accommodate.” The colours in his eyes danced between red and purple. He was wearing nothing but a towel around his waist and water still glistened of his body. He was trying every restrained she had bolstered right now. Think of ugly hairy gnomes, she told herself.
“No, no I’m good umm but thank you. I won’t ug… forget, I will not forget.” She stepped back from him, but he stepped forward.
“What does it mean when your eyes are red and purple?”
He kept stepping forward until she was pinned against the bookshelf and bent until he was eye level with her, both of his hands on either side of her head essentially trapping her.
“White is normal, grey clouds means I’m unhappy, red means I am pissed off, purple means…,” he looked down and up slowly his eyes lingering on certain parts of her and a hungry smile creased across his lips. “Purple means I am hungry for something other than food.”
She gripped the bookshelf behind her tightly, his woodsy lemon scent sent shivers throughout her body and an ache deep within her that reverberated straight to her clit. God why does he smell so good? She clamped her hand over her mouth, her eyes widen in horror after she realized that she said it aloud when he grinned at her.
“And what does the black mean?” she needed to think of something else.
He leaned in, his face mere inches from her neck; he inhaled deeply as he slowly moved up toward her face as a deep growl rumbled in his throat.
“I do not know; it has never happened before. You however seem to be the cause of it,” he growled the last part.
The intensity in his voice sent shivers throughout her body that weakened her knees and forced her to suppress the moan that threatened to escape. Warning bells echoed in her mind continuously, but her body failed to accept the warning, it wanted what she shouldn’t have. She quickly turned and picked up a book from his shelf. She scanned the title, what is this about she asked him.
He took the book from her and flipped it over, “It is about faith and interconnected destiny. How destiny through our actions still finds a way to manifest itself, sometimes even through blood and fire. It is about understanding that destiny and while it can change based on our actions or can cause the very destiny, we fight against we should not fear it. Destiny is not the enemy we are to ourselves.
She stared at him even after he finished speaking, her mind still struggled to place his physical appearance from his demeanor.
“You really believe that?” she asked
He cocked his head slightly still staring at her, “Yes, you do not believe in destiny?”
She shrugged, “Not really.”
“Then how did you end you here with me?”
Zuri was about to speak but he continued before she could, “She was just a catalyst, you and I were destined to meet sooner or later. You saw and felt it,” she started at her.
Her skin seemed to overheat and burn from his voice, “I… I think I need to use your bathroom.”
He continued staring at her then dropped his arms to let her pass, she scurried by him as she bolted for the bathroom. She slammed the door shut and locked it then leaned back on it and slid down until she reached the floor. She wanted him so much that she could feel it soaking through her panties, and he hadn’t even touched her why was his voice and the way he looked at her enough to set her on fire and send continuous tremors up and down her spine.
She needed to compose herself before she went back out there; she got up and walked over to his sink. She turned it on and splashed the cold water over her face before she turned to look around. She nodded in approval just the type of bathroom she could see herself having, the floor was a black polished concrete with a large walk-in shower that had multiple heads. The toilet bowl itself looked like it was house in one of the closed doors across the room and a large claw foot black and silver tub sat in the center of the space. The sink itself were doubled sinks and black with silver finishes.
She wouldn’t mind taken a bath, but it wasn’t as if she had anything with her and would he even let her sleep anyway? She sighed before walking back to the door and out the bathroom; he was standing in front of the door holding a t-shirt in his hand.
“You can take a bath and put these on.” He said as he thrust the clothes towards her.
“It’s ok, I’m fine.”
“Zuri, I was not asking. You are tired and I am sure you want to take a bath or at least a shower, so take the shirt and go do one or the another. Towels are behind the second door.” With that, he turned and walked towards the bed.
“Umm okay.” She walked back into the bathroom and shut the door, “Bossy much.”
She jumped when she heard the knock on the door but before she could get to the door, Eros opened it.
“I locked that.” She said pointing at the door.
“I know.” He closed the door behind him and walked to towards her. Nope, no, not sexy, definitely not hot, and sexy, she thought repeatedly as she walked back away from him. Being within close proximity of him was dangerous and was to be avoided at all cost. That was until his ring wing came out and wrapped around her then pulled her to him.
“Not fair.” She gripped the top of his wing.
“Incubuses have extremely good hearing.”
“Ah, so no whispering, just think it instead.”
He brought her closer to him, “Do not be a brat.”
“Trying.”
A small smile came to his face, “You are not scared of me anymore. That is good.”
“I mean not completely but not as much.”
“Hurry up. I will be asleep in less than an hour.” He said putting her down.
She nodded and waited for him to leave then she went to the shower, she needed to get away from him fast, she thought as the water ran down her body.
