“Don’t say that, Madi.” Yuma pleaded. “These little younglings are looking up to us. We have to do something. This isn’t a safe place, you know.”
“Yes,
you’re right.” Madora replied, wiping away her tears resolutely.
She rose up and clapped. “All right, Little Ones, I know that you’re all frightened and so are we. But we can’t survive this if we stay scared.”
The older ones nodded, but their tear stained faces held much fear.
