Mohab went far enough from the meeting ground of the tent in Bani Al-Badr that he might avoid being heard, and Rammah followed him, smiling, and spoke.
“Here we meet again. While the old people are having their discussion in that tent, here, we decide the future of our tribes. Frankly, I do not hide from you, I am excited to discover the matter of this wonderful oasis!”
“As am I, Rammah.”
Rammah pointed out his camel. “I did not forget your favor to me, my friend, and no matter what I present to you, I will not return that debt. For now, I will give you a very simple gift, I brought you some provisions from the oasis and I do not want you to return my gift.”
“Thank you, but it is difficult for me to accept it! How will I justify it to my father?”
“Do not worry, I have an idea. We brought with us two camels, a camel for you and camel for Safwan. Therefore, the justification is simple, just a simple gift to extend our truce and to extinguish any grudge between us.”
“You are smart, Rammah.”
Their conversation was cut short by Shaddad.
“I see you two have become friends! Glory to Allah! How conditions change.
Mohab answered with sarcasm. “Do you still show off in front of us after your defeat?”
“I am not in a mood for this, and certainly not one that allows me to argue with you, you conceited duo. I came to call you to the tent, and I advise you not to prolong these suspicious meetings in order not to wage war because of your violation of the rules of armistice.
Rammah sighed. “It is not you who teaches us the rules.”
