"Why did you rush, fool?" Okar growled. "Now they know we are here. If you had waited..."

"We are hungry!" Malach groaned, wincing as the blade buried in him quivered. "We must eat!"

 Okar surveyed his pack, Okana had returned with the rest.

If they agreed with Malach, then he would be attacked and overthrown.
