Al's Vision
After that explanation and everything I thought, I was almost coming to a conclusion. I got out of bed and went to talk to my parents, I got to the kitchen and only my mother was there, she was just sitting looking at a cup. I noticed that in the sun, the colors of her eyes and hair were much sharper. Then I gave her a surprise hug, she got a fright but soon hugged me back. While we were hugging, I told her.
"Mom, I've thought about everything I've said and what I know, I don't need all of it right now. I tried to do what you told me the other day, because I was very curious, but I couldn't get anything. I think I'm going to play more and I'm going to put those things aside for now."
She stopped hugging me and held me by the shoulders, and said. "I was very worried about all this, it's very strange for a 5-year-old to ask and try to do all this. I'm glad and relieved to know that you're not going to do anything like that now, but I want you to learn to read and write for now. I know you're different and I'm glad you are this smart, but I want you to have memories like any other kid has. Enjoy your childhood."
I nodded and looked at her again, she smiled and hugged me again. After Dad's explanation last night, I kept thinking about the hair colors and the eyes. So I asked my mom why she had that her hair and eyes of that color. Then she explained it to me. "Al, I have an affinity with earth and fire, so my hair is this color. It's because I'm special, like you."
I decided that I was going to stop everything, even if I was curious to see those lights and visions again. That same day, my mother began teaching me to read and write. She was a great teacher, and she made things a lot more fun. It was a great morning, and I was trying to play more, and not think too much about everything I wanted to do or learn. Mom seemed a lot calmer, so she said that after Dad got home from work, we were going to visit a lady from the village.
When Dad arrived, he was more excited than usual, hugged mom very tightly. So, he told us to go, I was a little confused about what we were going to do, but glad to see places I hadn't seen yet. We went further to the center of the village, I realized that we lived far away from most people, but I did not complain because there were many people talking and many places that made a lot of noise. I prefer the silence of home, we arrived in a strange place, it was a wooden house with only one room.
I didn't realize it at the time I walked in, but there was a lady sitting in a chair in the corner of the room, in the rest of the room I saw some chairs and a closed closet. The lady got up and looked at me, she spoke suddenly. "Alvo, son of Aurora and Joe, you've grown up." I've never seen her before, how did she know who I was? I looked at Mom and Dad, and Mom said. "She was the one who helped me when I was pregnent, she also saw that I was pregnant with you, her name is Amy."
My mom turned to Amy and said. "I've come to see if I'm okay, my tummy is growing a little and I'm feeling sick from time to time." Amy told my mother to sit in a half-leaning chair. She then put her hands on mom's belly, her hands started to glow a little and I realized she was very focused, she took off her hands and spoke. "Congratulations, you're pregnant!"
My father looked at me, grabbed me and said. "Al you're going to be an older brother." I was happy to be able in the future to have someone to play with me at home. My dad put me down and went to hug my mom. I thought a little bit about how that lady knew my mom was pregnant, just putting her hands on Mom's belly, but I let it go. I had already decided that I would only care about these things later on.
I came back from those thoughts and realized that Amy was looking at me in a weird way, and she said. "Can I see how Al is doing? Just to confirm one thing."
