After some arguing, Miss Natsume offered - more like ordered - me to go with her since we are heading to the same venue. She said that she will be the one paying for the taxi and it seems like I was too far from the bus stop. Walking to the bus stop will make me late for the event so she had no choice but to let me in the taxi, maybe I'll pay her someday when we met in the neighborhood. Not that she knows I just live next door either.
"So, what brings you to go to Comiket? Are you a cosplayer?" I tried to start a conversation with her.
Her gaze seemed fixed to the view outside the car but as soon as I asked her, it felt like she heard it and reacted a little bit. Maybe she was just forced to wear a magical girl outfit. I tried to start another conversation but I chose not to. It will deviate from my character so I guess it is better if I just mind my own business from now on. Not like she wanted to talk about it anyway.
We reached our destination but as soon as we got off the taxi, both of us parted ways. I don't know a thing about her so it is better that way. Also, I have a line to worry about so it will not be my responsibility if ever she gets at the end of the line.
Right from where I am currently standing in front of the one and only Tokyo Big Sight. Thankfully this year, it will happen in Big Sight, and most of all, thankfully there are no people currently waiting outside, letting me be the first one in line. I think today will be a good day and I can't wait for how it will turn out.
- A few hours later -
Now we are back from where we are in the prologue. Only 5 minutes before the gates will be opened but before that, in my field of vision, a familiar person caught my eyes on the other side of the line - where the artists are going in - and if you've been reading right from the start, you get what I mean. A little girl in a magical girl outfit is walking on the other side of the line where the artists are in. Now that I think of it, her weird magical girl outfit does resemble something that I have read before.
"Oh, that's right! She looked like a character from the doujinshi I read last night. If I am not mistaken, her name is -"
Someone suddenly cut my lines and interfere.
"Precure, am I right?" the guy behind me suddenly butts in.
"Yes, that's from Precure, right?" I asked him despite it.
"You don't know her? She's the infamous Peropero-sensei." He excitedly asked me.
"You mean the R-18 artist that often draw corrupted Magical Girl doujinshi?!" I blurted.
Peropero-sensei is a famous doujinshi artist that is rarely seen in events like Comiket but it seems that this year, she will be here. Her artist name is directly translated for the onomatopoeia of licking. Last year, she wasn't here in this event but I remember her works being sold out in the first 3 hours of the event. She's pretty popular in the R-18 side of the doujinshi world by using innocent characters and turning them corrupted in her works which greatly appeals to the mass. Never have I thought that Natsume Sakura who I was just with earlier is the same artist that we are talking about.
Now, this event turns a different turn for me. After having deep thinking, maybe I should go to her later and thank her for what she did earlier. I know that I am just a NEET but not thanking her will leave a bad taste to me.
"Alright! Once the gates were opened, I will do that." I motivated myself.
I looked on the other side and it seems like she cannot get in too because it seems like she lost her pass and she is not that active on attending events like this before so the committee doesn't recognize her that much. Guess she will need her manager or editor to some to let her in, huh?
And later on, the moment that I was waiting for finally arrived. The gates were opened on the exact time it said it will be and thank God, it seems like we will be able to get in now.
I took my time walking through the gate but the next thing I knew, I was stuck in my place and cannot make a move. The people behind me start to get angry because it seems like there's no movement happening even though the gates are already open. The committee that is supposed to get our tickets as we get in starts to worry because of me. Yes, trouble is about to start because I cannot move to where I am currently standing. I tried to look at my feet but there seems to be doodle on the ground from where I am standing.
"Don't tell me, this is a magic circle?!" I started to panic.
The people behind me start to step back away from me when they heard me saying those things. No, it is impossible! Does this mean, I am stuck here in a magic circle? I don't know how to undo stuff like these. More importantly, are these things possible? Aren't they supposed to be fictional?!
Questions start to pour in my mind that I cannot keep up with what is happening to me. The next thing that I knew is that I lost consciousness. I lost it while stuck in that circle as my vision starts to get dark and it feels like my body is falling.
I just want to get my doujinshi, why is this happening to me?!
