I like my legs because they take me places.

I like my skin because it protects me.

I like my voice because I can talk and scream and laugh with it.

I like my belly, because where else would my organs be?

I like my hands because they grab things I like.

I like my arms because they help my hands reach the things I like.

I like my chest because it helps my lungs have room to breathe.

I like my face because it helps me smell, taste, and see.

I am blessed to have my body.

Maybe other folks think otherwise.

Sometimes I think otherwise, too.

But in the end, my body is a body,

And it helps me do things I like and need to do.
