Asher felt overwhelmed by the task he was given by Shaw, he had cleaned up a few fighters in the past after a fight on some special occasions but never given one to look after for a period of time.
Shaw used him over other omegas in those cases because the alpha was usually new and they seemed to respond better to him. Asher figured it was the scent of Shaw wafting off of him as a constant reminder for them to stay in line.
Asher really wanted to believe that Shaw asked because he had faith in him and his abilities that he was valued in some manner but he knew his value to Shaw and it was nothing close to what he wished it to be.
Shaw left the room soon after dropping the bomb on him. The scent of his own fear feeling up the area around him. Theon pulled and fought against his restraints just as hard as he was before, his alphas not pleased with being held against his will. His growls lowered to a rumble not as threatening once Shaw left the room. Theon wanted out of his bindings and out of this room. He wanted his hands around Shaw's neck squeezing tight watching as the life started to leave his eyes just enough to show him that he was no more powerful than him.
The rage pulsed through him seeing nothing but red, the scent of fear filling his nose all coming from the omega that stood trembling across from him; he was covered in fear and the scent of Shaw.
Taking all of Theon’s strength to pull in a breath and relax back, the metal clinking as the links loosened. Asher looked up higher as he heard him step back, taking his first real look at the other male.
He was larger than Shaw but not taller, shaped more triangular like over a solid square framing, his shoulders broad but hips tapered in. Asher could see the male was pure muscle like most of the alpha's that found themselves down here.
He was injured, blood seeping from a gash on his cheek, among other places. It probably took a good beating to get him chained to the wall, it was clear he was there against his will. Jet black hair, pulled back in a long braid that laid over his shoulder hitting mid chest, dark eyes filling with anger, and skin Asher wasn'ts used to seeing. That catching his eye the most. Theon had beautiful olive colored skin. Melanin was rare and usually classified for higher classes: pure bloodlines.
"Could you stop. . ." Growled Theon looking forward, "Please." He added.
The scent of fear was making him nauseous.
"I can't handle it on top of his scent right now."
Theon being honest as he stepped back closer to the brick wall he was chained to giving more space between the two of them. His head hanging down as his body slumped forward against his will.
The 'please' took Asher by surprise, he hadn't heard that word in a long time. Shifting his weight to the other leg as he tried to pull himself together, Shaw said he wouldn't do anything to hurt him and he believed that. If Shaw felt Theon was a threat he wouldn't have given him this task, Asher trusting his alpha.
"Just don't hurt me." He spoke; still cautious out of habit.
"You're not who I want." Theon stated simply, letting go completely.
The rage boiled out of him as the meds he was dosed with kicked in harder. The omega didn't have anything to do with why he was here, he wasn't the one to blame.
Theon was also smart enough to see that he too was suffering as well, no omega in their right mind would choose someone like Shaw to be their alpha.
Asher not moving from his spot, even as he saw the sedative start to take effect over Theon. Shaw had given him the key for the metal cuffs before he left the room, leaving it up to him as to what to do from here. He didn't say anything about not letting him out but Asher already knew if he somehow got loose it would be his head on the block.
Pondering the thought for a long moment before he stepped a little closer.
"If I undo one you won't swing or grab at me?" Asher motioning to the cuff around his wrist.
Theon could easily scoop him up and crush him with a squeeze of the arm if he really wanted too.
"Not the one I want, remember." He states again.
Asher still not trusting his gut feeling about Theon, thinking of past mistakes that he's made with other alphas here.
"Give me your word?" Asher asked, childlike.
Theon looking down at the male, growling under his breath before giving his word.
Giving his word didn't mean he had to follow through but a lot of men only had their word so they wouldn't falter when promising. Theon was happy that the sour scent started to disappear and didn't grow worse as the omega grew closer. His steps ones of timidness but Theon didn't take that personally.
Releasing his arm from the wall, the cuff clanking on the concrete floor next to him. Theon instinctively rubbed his wrist with his other hand, pulling as hard as he did only hurt him in the end.
With one hand free it allowed him to slump against the wall, the sedative taking away most of the strength in his legs making it hard for him to stand any longer.
"Watch your head." Commented Asher jumping forward reaching out as Theon's body just gave way on him.
His weight taking Asher with him. He knew that Theon was well over anything he could ever try and keep standing up but that didn't stop his nurturing instincts from kicking in and trying to help. Catching his head with his lap, in a way accomplishing what he wanted, keeping Theon from whacking his head off the wall or the floor.
"Heeyy. . . " Theon slurred out, booping Asher's nose with his index finger, "You're kind of cute up close."
Asher wondering just how much Shaw gave him to go from full enraged blood thirsty alpha to some docile creature booping noses.
"You're kind of high." Commented Asher, not registering the complement given.
Theon shaking his head no, with a little smirk plastered on his full lips.
