Asher got the impression that Theon must be a special case because Shaw had many fighters under his command all of which stayed at the club. He had private rooms for his fighters on the lower level, the fresh ones were kept under lock and key much like Theon was prior for a long while, they had to earn their place and his trust before they were allowed extras.
Extras were simple things like free hours in which they could leave or to be moved to a room like the one they were in now. His prize fighters got access to the club and muses of their choice.
Muses fell under anyone who worked for Shaw that had a contract, it was a final clause in all paperwork.
He was sure that was the only reason why the goon had mentioned Zac was because he was one of the current prize fighters he had recently gotten access to his choice of a muse.
He of course had taken an interest in Asher the moment he saw him and was still currently working on Shaw to get him to change his mind about keeping Asher as the only omega that was off limits to anyone but himself.
Keeping other alphas away from him was the only thing Shaw has done right as a mate. Pushing the thoughts of him having to fight aside as he got up from the floor.
Theon started to pace around the room, running his hands over his head hissing as he brushed the wound along his hairline.
"Sit." Asher motioning to the bed. "You don't need to be walking around like that."
Theon looking over his shoulder, "Orders from an omega." His tone was serious but there was a smirk pulling at his lips.
"So there is some back bone in there." Commented Theon as he moved back to the bed, sitting on the edge; knees apart.
"My job is to make sure you're prepared for your fight, Shaw will know if I didn't do my best. . . " His words trailing off.
He didn't want to disappoint Shaw anymore than he already did. It was clear that Asher's life was in Theon's hands and Theon knew that the goon wouldn't have said it if Shaw didn't say it himself.
Theon leaned forward as Asher returned with some supplies from his kit, laying it next to him on the bed. Pouring some cleaning solution on a gaze, patting it gently to the reopened gash on Theon's forehead.
"It shouldn't need any real attention but if you keep touching it that might come to change." Asher stepped between Theon's legs to get a better look, pushing a few stray hairs to the side with his fingers.
"I stick with what I said before." Commented Theon, "You are cuter close up."
Asher's cheeks grew red at the comment, placing a bandage over the wound quickly.
"Well that's all I can do for tonight." Asher spoke moving away, grabbing his things.
"I'll bring you something to change into and a towel so you can shower. Also some pain medication for the headache you'll be getting in about an hour once the drugs are completely out of your system."
It was clear that Asher had been through this a few times before however his words came out a little too fast, showing his discomfort at the comment made towards him.
"I'll be back tomorrow to check your bandage. Pretty sure you already guessed it but this will be your home till Friday, but don't be too upset it's better than the alternative." Asher commented, not sure if it would help any.
"Most have to fight for a while before getting here." He added.
"So I should be happy." Growled Theon, as he laid back on the bed, glancing at Asher in anger.
Happy was the last thing he was feeling.
