Hello people, Deviant Author here with some author's notes. Let us commence.

The art that was used for the thumbnail for chapter 2 was an art commission drawn by Nynne, you can follow her on Twitter @beanynne, she also has a shop, the website beanynne.bigcartel.com. She has some amazing artwork on there that I recommend looking at.

The animals that were used on the thumbnail are called "Gambolers" as some of you may not know I got the name from the word gambol (which means to run and jump around playfully) and simply added an er to it. These majestic animals travel in herds and have an monogamous relationship. As the name suggest, they love to prance and jump around playfully almost like they are dancing. On a full moon and the sky is clear, gambolers all partake in herd mating dance. The most striking feature about these animals is that their antlers glow, similar to bioluminescence. When in danger of a predator approaching, their antlers flash signaling the others to escape. Although these glowing antlers make them more susceptible to predators during the night. Many people hunted these animals in past, under the belief that their antlers can be used to make an elixir for immortality, but that later proven to be false.

The character drawings in the thumbnail is Lonato! This is an art commission drawn by ZikauArt. Visit ZikauArt on Etsy. You can either download Etsy on your phone or tablet, or simply visit the website. S/he did an amazing job, I'll definitely come back for more character drawings. I couldn't find tribal or the clothing I was picturing so I had to do the best with the picture references I searched up. Lonato's facial features are more less based off of me. I used my picture as a reference to go off of since I couldn't picture what Lonato looked like. There was a slight miscommunication, my picture on which I have a goatee and mustache, I didn't want him to have since I wanted him to look younger. But, after receiving the sketch I though he looked pretty cool. Or I guess I look cool since he is based off of me? He kind of reminds me of Eraserhead from My Hero Academia. Or maybe if you put this guy in a suit he would appear as the boss of an evil organization.

 I had trouble at first to come up with Lonato's theme song, I wanted a rap/hip-hop song that was inspirational, that gives off a keep on fighting and never give up vibe. I had considered Walk by Kwabs (feat. Fetty Wap), Crooked Smile by J. Cole (feat. TLC), or strangely enough Ego Death by Ty Dolla $ign (feat. Kanye West, FKA twigs & Skrillex). We Came to Win came out the victor, it best describes him after listening a couple of hundred times, it finally sticks!
