Reinhardt said nothing else, but deep inside he was shocked. Feeling a sight shiver down his spine, he then replied to him:
“Sire...If anyone else heard that, it could cause misunderstandings...you know our relations still aren't great yet....They probably didn't respond, cause they wanted more time on the choice. But Then....The Dominion should have denied it by now...What's going on?”
Aeneas then gave him a smirk. “Well, True. But It’s better than with the empire. I had a chance that day we went to meet them at Midgardius last time...and I befriended him.”
“You mean, you approached the Prince before they left? Without anyone noticing??”
“The truth is, I wanted to know more about him. Although at the time, I honestly just wanted to escape from home...the capital to be specific. I needed a distraction. And then when I met him...He was a genuine guy. How he felt about the relations between the two...how it could be better even with the Reunification Deal...and best yet…”
In his mind, Reinhardt had underestimated Aeneas for a while. It seems that he was completely unaware of Aeneas’s odd but well-thought-out plots. Reinhardt was now taking him seriously,….
“...We shared Ero-mags together. Man, I have to admit: Village Babes was the best one he sent.”
“SO BASICALLY YOU WERE JUST SHARING EROTIC MATERIAL?!”
Reinhardt then stumbled up from his chair.
“Wait….Don’t tell me…. THIS IS WHAT YOU MEAN BY “IMPROVING RELATIONS?”
Aeneas looked at him blankly and replied: “I guess. He seemed pretty enthusiastic about working together in the future. Me too, from there on, we had something in common: We both only have a father! How interesting is that...In any case, He was going to persuade his father to consider being closer allies in the future.”
“Can you not swiftly change the subject with a depressing fact in the middle?! In the end, you just bribed him with erotic material!! What’s worse is that you actually managed to convince him!”
Aeneas then grinned. “Hey, As long as it works. Plus, He was willing to cooperate with us...meaning that we can put an end to our tense relationship!”
Reinhardt then got upset and stood up from his chair. “Utterly Ridiculous…Still...Good on you for not running away there. You...are a strong guy. I trust you.”
Aeneas blushed and laughed it off his chest. He felt honored to be complemented by his best friend. Then followed up. “Now, now, now, While I may have managed to persuade him...There has been something that has really been bothering me in the past few weeks.”
Reinhardt then looked back at the Prince. “What do you mean?”
“I recently sent him a letter last month, on the month of Caela. Trust me, It was actually a really serious letter, regarding relations. But….He hasn’t responded at all ever since. He usually replies quite fast too... I have a really bad feeling about this.”
Reinhardt then got nervous.
“By the Gods, What if the King had discovered that you 2 have been sharing such dirty material?!”
Aeneas was surprised. “Crap!!!! Oh god...We’re screwed...”
Then, a knight shouted from across the backyard.
“Um! I have a letter for his Majesty!”
Aeneas and Reinhardt then look intensely at the letter, both thinking:
“COULD IT BE!?”
Aeneas then quickly grabbed the letter and recognized the insignia. It was from House Fianna, Royal Family of Drust. The sender appeared to be...From the King.
“WE’RE SCREWED!!” They both yelled. Reinhardt was in a panic and grabbed Aeneas by his shoulders.
“This is all you damned fault! What if something really serious happened!?? If they reunify and become an enemy in the future, that will be a HUGE problem!”
“C-Calm down! I’m sure the old man is just writing to us to say thank you for looking after his son, or something like that…”
Aeneas then ripped open the letter and then together, they started reading:
“To Crown Prince Aeneas Ludo Arcadia. Thank you very much for writing to my son. I have been informed of what is going on. If you truly desire peace and for good relations between us, then I am willing to put in all the effort to prevent further conflicts between us. As such, I am willing to meet up with you and your council, especially regarding the Reunification plan. We may have had our differences politically between our families in the past, but You have given me hope that the future could be a bright one if we worked together, and solve our problems together, like a family. As a result, I am ready and will accept your proposal of joining the United Nations of Odgard. I look forward to it.
With Regards, King Josef van Fianna.”
But then as they continue to read down, Aeneas read something very unexpected, to where he was actually shocked, where Reinhardt....was disgusted.
“PS: Could you please send me a spare copy of that magazine called “Lady Hanekawa”? The one with the Cat lady... That one is actually...quite to my liking.”
“YOU TOO???!!” Reinhardt had seen enough.
“I can’t believe you managed to convince the King with that as well!!”
Aeneas was just speechless. “I-I wasn’t expecting that. He always looked pretty menacing too...I guess I underestimated him.”
Reinhardt just sighed. “Ugh, Forget it. At the very least...You managed to change something. Although the methods were rather stupid….you did accomplish something really big. You saved us. Not bad...pervert.”
Aeneas and Reinhardt then shared a good laugh. Still, one must admit: "Thanks to finding a common ground between the princes of both countries, they were able to further establish a good relationship together.
Meanwhile in the Kingdom of Drust, as the cold, harsh winds of winter struck the nation, In the Castle of Thracia, where the Royal Family lives, The family was about to head to bed for the night.
The King, about to take a quick nap in his bed, was quietly interrupted by his son, who knocked on his door.
"Father? May I come in?"
King Josef, although exhausted from the long day of duties he attended, of course, could not dare to say no to his own son, for he loved him dearly. "Oh of course. Is there something you have in mind tonight? What is this about?"
His son, Charlemange Dios Fianna, closes the door slowly and begins talking about the letter they send back to the Prince regarding the alliance. He then confesses that in truth, he had a good talk with the Prince some time ago, and has reached a mutual understanding, to where they both became friends. His father, upon hearing this, laughs.
"W-what is the matter, Have I done something wrong, father?" asks a concerned Charlemange.
"Oh, You have nothing to worry about. I am not mad! In fact, it all makes sense...Still...I didn't think...well no, I should not say that about my own son. I respect your desire for solitude. That said...You did a good job."
The troubled Charlemagne calms his nerves, then sighs, "O-oh...I just...enjoyed being around his company. Despite him looking very optimistic about things...he is a guy who always has a lot in mind. Plus...I understand the pain of losing his mother."
Josef then hugged his son. "Son. You have a warm heart. Even if he approached you first, the fact that you were willing to listen... makes me really happy. Your mother would have been proud to see this moment that you opened up to someone. Especially with a Prince from a country who we have some tense relations with. You should rejoice in this beautiful moment...plus, with our newfound relationship, we can even save our country with the reunification plan! You...did it. You achieved something big today, for this is the path towards our friendship with the future king of Calydon. You are strong. Don't look down on yourself, okay?"
Charlemagne smiled. "Thank you, father. That said...he's got good taste, doesn't he?"
Josef laughed and so his face flushed red, immediately understanding what his son is referring to.
"Oh hell yeah. Can't wait for that next meeting...I'm so sorry to have you do this, but...I would like for you to personally send the prince a letter for our meeting regarding the Unification Plan. As for the date...well, I'll let you handle it, how does that sound?"
The Prince, feeling a sudden rush of adrenaline, instantly got up from his chair, and did a dance so stupid, that not even his own father could fathom what he had just done. All that was there was movement as if he was being hit by strong winds, numorous rotations of what seems to be acending to a higher plane of existance, ending with a thunderous yell, following up with his arms henched towards his crotch, in a menacing pose.
"You got it, Father."
In the optimistic mind of Charlemagne, a Bright, Warm Future was approaching for the Cold Kingdom. However, would History be kind to this family?
After an hour of discussion by in Calydon's Castle Argo, The 2 Friends had reached a conclusion.
“Ok so basically…. We have a total of 4 countries and 5 States joining our Alliance. Then, I have to start preparing for our first major meeting between all members of the United Nations of Odgard. I have to rehearse what I will have to say before the event, meaning that I have to plan what we will do as an alliance together for this week…. And since I also have to inform this alliance plan to that old far- I mean old man, I have to think of a strategy as soon as possible…. Most likely I have to think of something by the end of today. Am I correct?” said Aeneas.
“That’s correct. So….do you even have an idea?
Aeneas smiled. “Of course I do! If anything, We’re lacking something very important….
Reinhardt then replied, “And what is it that we’re missing?”
Aeneas then replied, “That’s a surprise I’ll be saving for until that very day of the meeting between all of us!”
Aeneas then got up from the desk and went to the front door. But before he left, he said:
“Sorry for the cliffhanger by the way!” He winked.
The door closed behind him, followed by a silence in the room.
Reinhardt sighed. “We didn’t even finish, but…..”
Reinhardt then shrugged. “Oh well. Time to clean up.”

After a week, On Asheria 11th 2200 MC, The Historic meeting was a success. In the end, It was concluded that The United Nation of Odgard’s Joint Army is now divided by Separate Army Groups per each country, planned out by Prince Aeneas. Calydon’s Army Group will lead the charge in case of an attack on the nation.
In total, The Great Alliance had 9 Army Groups. The total count of soldiers for the army was a total of 5,000,000 soldiers.
However, Aeneas had an interesting idea. He planned that in order to inspire morale…instead of a random General, He would personally lead the charge. But the truth is that he was lacking soldiers for the cause. According to Statistics, Calydon had the least amount of soldiers to the cause. Thus, He had to think about…..New Recruits.
That Night on the 11th...
“I need more soldiers….If I don’t get enough men within a week….I’m doomed. What can I do...” Aeneas stared down at a piece of paper, writing down his thoughts on how he was planning to get people to join his cause.
Then, it was midnight. Aeneas decided to stop for the night, and went to his bookshelf to grab a book, read “Hero’s Impact.” He began to read.
"Haha, This book is always so great to read. Mmm?"
Then, After reading something important from the book, He gains an idea.
“I got it!” He smiled, closed his book, and went to his desk to write his new idea quickly.
“This is gonna be fantastic…I'm gonna have to consult this with Mr. Ferdinand first however...Will I ever impress him? Thankfully, He's in the city today..."
After finishing writing his idea, he leaves his desk to head out.
The next day, On Asheria 12th, Posters were all over the capital.
Then, One of the citizens grabbed the posters and read one.
“Join us in the Upcoming Calydon's Knighthood Games! Anyone can participate, from Commoner to Noble! By working together, Should a team win, They will be guaranteed to Join the Knights of Calydon! The games will be held tomorrow, from the morning to the evening. The Tournament will also be held in all cities over the country! Ask local admissions center for further details. Results will be announced on the morning of the 16th!”
The young man was flabbergasted and said, “SERIOUSLY? A COMMONER LIKE ME CAN FIGHT FOR THE ROYAL FAMILY AND THE NATION?!” The man was very excited and felt a strong surge of strength throughout his whole body. “I always admired Lord Aeneas for his great deeds like when he helped his Father the King fight this crazy strong dude a few years ago!
He then spends a few seconds daydreaming about what if he joined the knights.
The young man looked up to the sky.
“This is my chance! I’m going to join this competition and become the Best Knight like I always dreamed of! Just you watch me, world!!"
