A young woman stumbled through the night. Police sirens echoed through the air and the big cities night lights reflected on the wet ground and puddles left by the evening rain.
The young woman fled into a back alley, leaned against the wall and slid down, sitting on the wet ground.
The young woman was breathing heavily, both hands desperately pressing on the bullet wound just below her ribs "Quick job, my ass" she cursed.
'𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦'
a voice could be heard. The young woman startled and looked around, but nothing was there, only a dark chuckle came back as an answer '𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘮𝘦...at least 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘶𝘵 a little'
A weird anomaly appeared in front of her, kinda like a glitched black hole '𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰? 𝘥𝘪𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘳𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘺, 𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦𝘯? 𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦...'
The young woman stood up and as if she was magically attracted to it she got closer and closer to the anomaly. She stretched out her hand, touched it and....absorbed it?
"Stop right there!" Multiple police officers entered the back alley, all guns pointed directly at her. The young woman startled, causing her to move just a bit faster then the police liked.
Multiple gunshots echoed through the air "What the...." the police officers stopped and stared at her with faces of terror and disbelief. The young woman looked down at herself, only to find herself completely unharmed "The fuck?" was the only thing she was able to say before she noticed a little line of text in the bottom left of her field of vision: 'Collision: Off'
Thinking quickly the young woman ran deeper into the back alley, while the police started to chase and shoot her. Eventually she reached the dead end, but instead of slowing down she kept going, running straight against the wall and right through it. The young woman looked at her body in disbelief, before starting to put more and more distance between herself and the police.
