Moments before the jet carrying the members of the Densetsu Division and the rescued young people took off from the parking lot, on top of one of the nearby buildings, a man in dark colored outfit was watching everything without being spotted by anyone.

Unknown says "Hyperion... you do exactly what is expected of you...

Drawing little moths to your flames... to get them burned.

Their path is set and nothing will change that from now on... not even the one that watches above everyone else...

I may only watch and hope for a new outcome this time."

Behind the watching figure, a pitch-black disc pulses as it was alive. A ghostly voice seems to come from it, but the words sound too distorted to make any sense.

Upon hearing that noise, the man seems to understand what it means, turning himself in the direction of the black disc, stepping inside the darkness and disappearing from there.

After a few minutes of flight, the jet stopped moving forward when it was positioned above the ocean, and despite descending like it was about to land, nothing could be seen below the airplane until it got past an invisible electromagnetic barrier. Revealing a platform-like building in the middle of nowhere.

From the main building, four giant metal corridors connect to circular-shaped installations that seem to help keep the whole thing stable above the sea.

The small airplane lands on top of the big hexagonal building, surrounded by six big mechanized cannons that look ready to take down any threat that gets too close.

After the jet's doors open, the commander leads the way, inviting the newcomers to enter an elevator located right next to the circular landing pad and, in a few seconds, its doors open again, revealing the command center of the Black Box.

Rei says "What is this place...? There are so many screens... and I can't understand anything."

Erika says "I bet this is the place they've been stalking us."

Keiko says "This place looks like a sentai's command center! It's so cool! Maybe they've also got a talking head somewhere..."

Akagi says "Your tech is more than I expected, sir."

Commander Hyperion says "We've worked hard to get all this set up in the last decade. It wasn't easy, it wasn't cheap, but there are a lot of good people who supported this division since its initial concepts."

Tenma says "Despite the support, all this wouldn't be possible without you, sir."

Commander Hyperion says "Maybe not... but I didn't bring you all here to talk about how we've built the Densetsu Division. As I've mentioned before, you'll be safe here and I also want to make a formal invite to all of you to join this division."

Rei says "Join this division...? To do what? I'm not a military man."

Keiko says "I accept mister! Not sure what I can do, but I accept! I know how to make coffee and I'm good with machines!"

Erika says "If you're asking me to join you for free, I'll pass."

Akagi says "I'm already at your disposal, sir."

Commander Hyperion says "I'm actually asking the four of you to receive formal training in the use of your powers. According to the little I know about your capabilities, I believe you can be part of the elite strike team of the Densetsu Division, the same position Tenma occupies.

This obviously comes with a price... you won't be able to leave this installation for a few months, your progress is going to be closely evaluated, you'll also be strongly discouraged to maintain any contact with outside people... but you'll be properly compensated.

I am well aware that you are young, you've got dreams about the future, you want to have fun and maybe just enjoy your life... but joining the Densetsu Division doesn't mean abandoning all of that. This place is warmer than it looks, so I invite you to stay with us for a week at least to get an idea of what you are getting yourselves into."

Keiko says "I'm in! Mister, I'm in! I'll be the best of whatever you expect me to be!"

Rei says "Doesn't sound that bad... it is not like I have a job or anyone expecting me to come back home anyway..."

Erika says "I didn't hear any real numbers yet... but I guess I can stay for a few days..."

Akagi says "I am used to being isolated for months in my line of work, so staying here changes nothing. I am curious though about this elite strike team you've mentioned...

With all due respect sir, but is this guy here the only one you have in it? He didn't really seem like a big deal to me despite being strong..."

Tenma says "..."

Commander Hyperion says "Tenma trained under my own care for many years... he is also the son of Sigma Mask and Metal Lady, inheriting a hybrid version of BOTH his parents' powers... so pardon him if he doesn't like to show off... but I can guarantee that he is more than capable to be in the elite team of this division."

Rei says "Is he the son of who...?"

Keiko says "SIGMA MASK and METAL LADY!!! Awesome!!! I love them both!!! Tenma-senpai must be really strong!"

Erika says "Now this is getting interesting..."

Akagi says "I-I am sorry if I sounded rude, sir. I couldn't have imagined..."

Commander Hyperion says "It's all good, I'll ask for someone to show you your rooms, but before that, let me introduce to all of you doctor Marina Shidou, our specialist in Code Breaker physiology. She'll do a check-up on you tomorrow morning to see if there are any side effects caused by being kept in those stasis tubes."

Marina says "Nice to meet you all. The exams tomorrow won't feature anything extraordinary, so there is no need to worry about it.

Unlike them, you should have your check-up done today Tenma, so don't forget to head to the infirmary after your mission report."

Tenma says "I won't forget."

After leaving the command center, the newcomers were conducted to the dorms by one staff member who gave a brief explanation about the place before leaving.

Despite being part of a bigger zone that seemed to encompass most of the floor, they would be restricted to a small wing of it, probably due to security reasons.

Keiko says "So so so, you've helped Tenma-senpai to rescue us, right?"

Akagi says "You could say that."

Keiko says "Are you also a spy, miss? I've heard they call you Agent Akagi, that's so cool! By the way, my name is Keiko Ogawa, you can call me just Keiko or K-chan if you prefer! What's you first name, miss?"

Akagi says "I'm not calling you that. It'll be Keiko... and you could say that I'm a spy... but probably not the kind of spy you're imagining... I gather intel, watch targets and deal with them when authorized, that's it. My name is Emiri Akagi, but I prefer to be called by only Akagi."

Keiko says "It is still cool! What kind of power do you have Akagi-senpai?"

Akagi says "Do not call me that... Akagi is enough... I can generate heat energy, transfer it to stuff or increase my own physical capabilities with it."

Keiko says "Nice! What about the two of you? What can you do?... and also, I don't think I've heard your names!"

Rei says "I'm Rei Uesu. I can create some objects when I get hurt and bleed... a pretty dumb power if you ask me..."

Keiko says "Objects?! Like a chair, a car or a sword?"

Rei says "Not really... just some useless pointed things... I don't really understand it well to be honest."

Keiko says "I see... you probably need some training! And you, miss?"

Erika says "I'm Erika Nagano. About my 'power', let's see... I could say that I can be very convincing. But I'm not entirely sure if it is really a power or my own beauty..."

Keiko says "Oh! Maybe you can give mental suggestions? It sounds cool anyway!

As for my power... I can talk to machines!"

Rei says "You what? Talk to machines?"

Erika says "Craziness isn't a power..."

Akagi says "Excuse me, but I'm off to bed... can't handle this amateur talk anymore... wish you all good luck surviving one week here..."

Keiko says "G'night Akagi-senpai!"

Akagi says "I said do not call me that..."

Keiko says "I guess I'll check my room too, maybe there is something nice in there like some spy tech!"

Erika says "Probably not... can't you see that they've locked us here in a restricted zone so we don't mess with anything we shouldn't?"

Rei says "Do you think she was being serious about hacking the whole place?"

Erika says "Don't know, don't care... help me with this door. How do I configure the lock? Didn't pay attention to what the guy said..."

Rei says "Sure thing... just press here... and now put your hand there... alright, confirm it, that should do it...
