John is showing off again, I think he and Ingrid are the only ones blissfully ignorant to the fact that Aisha is in love with Ingrid. John keeps showing off to her and it’s honestly a bit strange at this point. He’s a solid guy, but he’s chasing the wrong woman.

Thea is flirting with Nine again, I wonder what her actual name is. Probably something cool, like I dunno, something cool, I can’t think of anything off the top of my head. I’m sure we’ll know what her name is eventually.

I’m pretty sure Henry is a nobleman, he’s got a middle name, and typically only nobility has that, so that’s pretty interesting, I would say. Though, if he is a nobleman, he doesn’t act like you’d think, very hard working, it’s pretty great!

Teach has really been up our asses about stuff recently, wonder what’s got her on edge, I’ll ask around with the other professors and see what’s up, I’m just a bit worried, it’s probably since we’re graduating soon, but still, something else is probably up, I’ll figure something out, I always do.

Michele is so lovely, she helps out with everything and always interacts so well with everyone, there’s not a day that goes by that she doesn’t make someone smile. She’s a sweetheart, everyone adores her, even Aisha.

Hans has been talking up a storm about past achievements lately, wonder how many are true, probably very few, since I’m pretty sure he’s never wrestled a drake, probably got singed by its tiny flames though.

I’ve been working behind the scenes, it hasn’t been so bad the past few days, we’ve worked out a plan for the mock battle, something the freshmen can keep up with, but will give them a challenge still, I think it’s pretty solid. My old mentor actually used to tell me to never underestimate any opponent, no matter how small they may seem, and I think we’ll be pleasantly surprised by Class G.

There’s been murmurings about a huge amount of troops being sent to the Nodrian border, something serious is probably going on down there. It’s so cold there though, Yuri’s told me stories of how he’d wear three different coats and still be cold! I hope we don’t have to get deployed there, it’s typically for screw-up officers with stunted careers. Still irks me about all the troops going there.

It’s almost time for the mock battle, it’s sad to have to work so hard this month, but it really can’t be delayed much. I’ve requested a rifle course for today, so that we can be better prepared. It’ll be good for us.
