Bakary and Haru sat across from each other outside the principal's office. Haru growled loudly and rolled his eyes whenever he looked at Bakarys expressionless face.

"Okay boys the Principal will see you now," The homeroom teacher said and the walked out of the office shutting the door behind him.

Bakary and Haru walked into Principal Heinz's office. She was seated on her desk reading through Haru's student file.

The boys sat down and watched as Principal Heinz flipped through their files for almost 10mins before she finally spoke

"Okay, so what happened?" she asked

"I came into school today and when I sat on my chair it felt wet and sticky," Haru said quickly and loudly "I stood up and looked down at my chair and I saw red paint." 

"Bakary did you paint Harus chair red?" Principal Heinz asked

"Yes I did" Bakary responded

"See Principal Heinz. I knew it was him" Haru screamed

"Quiet Haru this is not a Tavern"

"Sorry," Haru said 

"Bakary may I ask why you chose to wear your gym attire on the first day of school?"

"I actually wore my white shirt today but I had to take it off because Haru poured strawberry milk all over me," Bakary replied

"Is that true Haru?" Principal Heinz asked 

"Yes but that was all because he painted my desk red"

"LOOK BOYS, I have had it with you two" Principal Heinz was annoyed

"For the last year, you have both been in and out of my office because of the foolish pranks you pull on each other. No matter how many times we punish or suspend you all you do is repeat this foolishness" 

Principal Heinz stood up and stared at her pack of cigarettes on her desk. She needed a smoke but she fought the urge.

"I'm going to have to expel you," she said as she sat down and opened up their files."

"WAIT PLEASE YOU CANT EXPEL ME. MY MOMS GOING TO KILL ME" Haru screamed

"Then what exactly do you want me to do? you keep fighting and it's causing every one of your teachers a lot of stress" Principal Heinz said

"I'm really sorry," Haru said 

"Then let's do this." Principal Heinz said with a strange smile on her face "Why don't you boys work on an essay together. I want you to pick a topic and write a 20 paged essay on it and then during the last week of the semester I want you guys to present it to me. If you boys do well not only will I not expel you but I will also give you an additional 30% on your college grades. That way you can get into good universities. Does that sound fair?" Principal Heinz asked

Bakary and Haru stared at each other and then back at the Principal

"YES, THAT'S FAIR!" Haru said 

"Great then get out of my office and no more fights. if I hear anything even the slightest rumor that you argued I will expel you!"

Bakary and Haru said their thankyous and walked out of the office.

Principal Heinz grabbed her cigarettes and pulled out a stick. She knew she wasn't going to expel them but she just wanted to scare them into working together and make her job easier.
