Suyeon had a hard time during lunch. Nobody from her class came to talk to her and no one sat with her at lunch. A few people from the other class said hi but didn't stay to chat.
"Hey, hows your day going?" Aki said to Suyeon who was seated by herself at the basketball court.
"Not so good. Nobodies talking to me" Suyeon said and started to cry
"Hey don't cry," Aki said as she leaned in and hugged her "Why don't you just apologize to Bakary publicly
"Do you think that will help?" Suyeon asked
"Of course it will!"
"But why was everyone so upset?" Suyeon asked
"Well you see Bakary and Haru are the class hunks and everyone loves them boys included. The Principal warned them that if they caused trouble she might move one of them into another class and nobody wants that. Bakary and Haru are what makes class 12b unique. So whenever they fought nobody told on hem" Aki said
Suyeon wanted to make friends and didn't want to feel like an outcast. If apologizing was what she needed to do to get on her classmate's good side then she would do it.
Suyeon waited for Bakary to settle down at his desk and when she finally had the courage she went over and began her apology.
"I'm sorry about your shirt!" Suyeon said loudly
Everyone went silent and looked to see what was happening
"My strawberry milk ruined your shirt so please forgive me!"
"Its nothing I have plenty of shirts at home. So don't worry about it" Bakary said
Suyeon smiled she felt relieved
"And Suyeon" Bakary continued " You're really pretty you know"
The whole class started to mumble. Suyeon smiled and returned to her desk.
"Hi, Suyeon. Wow you have really pretty hair lets be friends" one girl said to her
"Yeah let's go to the mall together after school," another girl said
"Uh yeah, that sounds like fun!" Suyeon replied
Aki looked at Bakary and smirked. It was just like him to do such a thing. He must have known people where shunning Suyeon. So he called her pretty on purpose because he knew people would give her another chance and be nice to her.
