Summary:

The oldest overseer, he’s in charge of rebuilding the fauna of a planet in case of a total extinction event.

Biology:

Like the remaining overseers, he’s made out of a special metal created by Earth’s angel. He's modeled after a human skeleton, safe for the needles he has instead of fingers, and was designed to tower over the average human (average human height increased considerably since the ice age, so now he barely reaches the average height for women).

According to scripture, Fauna uses his needle to colect samples of living beings for later cloning and rebuilding efforts.

He’s always depicted using a dark fur hood that covers him from head to toe, and a pair of leather boots, only his face and hands being visible.

Additional facts:

Contrary to popular belief (among people who don’t actually follow the religion or picked up a book about it) Fauna does not have an incubator inside his belly. And yes. Fauna is indeed a man.

Fauna was the only overseer who didn’t alter his body in any way after the Earth's angel disappeared.

Some scriptures claim Fauna can read minds and that his glass eyes glow in the dark.
