"Oh my gosh." I covered my mouth with my hands as I pulled my legs to my chest. Across from me, Dray opened one of her eyes and tilted her head.
"What is it, Harp?"
"It's a girl.. My soulmate's a girl.. and she lives in Arizona." I didn't even know where Arizona was exactly. We didn't need to learn about the states too much. I know about LA and New York, but that's about it. I quickly stood up any ran to the door. Dray quickly followed me.
"Harper?" I put on my jacket and my shoes. "Harper where are you going?" I grabbed my bag and put it on, too.
I looked Dray dead in the eyes as I opened the door. "Home. I need to find something out." I ran out, not closing the door because I trusted Dray enough that she would.

"I'm home!" I said into the house, and was going to attempt to escape into my room without my mum's questioning, but was unsuccessful.
"Harper? What are you doing here? I thought the party was until late?" I pulled me shoes off and ran to the stairs, seeing my mum at the bottom of them.
"I left early, I forgot I had homework, don't worry about it." I ran upstairs to my room and closed the door. I sat down at my laptop and opened it, typing a map of the USA. I found Arizona and sighed. I felt a pain and looked at my arm.
"Are you okay?" I looked at my desk for something to reply with as it disappeared and found a fine point marker.
"Getting there.."
"You know what?"
"What."
"You never told me your name."
"Oh!" Now I felt bad. she told me her name was Callie Taylor, and I didn't even tell her my name after asking hers. "My name is Harper Smith."
"That's a beautiful name." I felt my face warm.
"Thanks. So, tell me about Arizona."
