Gossamer wings,
Of steel-hearted glory.
Filigree silk,
All twisted and twined.
From Auburn to Ebony,
Peridot, Scarlet.
Shimmering, shining,
Chasing and drifting.
With wandering wings,
Held aloft by the winds.
Fierce little dragons,
Brought low by the rain.
My steel-hearted glories,
Who've fought through the ice.
Fly fiercely through swift winds,
To bask in the glimmer.
Of shattered days Dawn,
And scattered light,
of summer stars.
Small fierce hearted warriors,
Straight from the great blue.
Shining Ebony Embers,
Flying so high.
Soaring past,
On great wings of iron.
Forged as such wonders,
As this roped iron cage.
Wrought with such beauty,
Forged from steel bright.
Pure,
as the light of the full moon.
On warm summer nights,
From deep in the heart,
Of this wooded world
A land of soft greens,
And golden dusk light.
Glinting off steel wings,
Of my fierce little fighters.
Wings of silk blades,
Felling bleak winds,
Of icy terror.
Cold drops of rain,
That are now falling.
From,
This blue-black night sky,
Shall fell you no more.
From these,
Blue skies of green,
And sunsets of memories.
And now that you've claimed them,
Taken them for your own.
These blue skies of green,
Now are your home.
