Journal Entry #2

Father has died.

His last words were not to me… but my mother. He told her that he was coming to see her. He was happy that they would finally be together. I tried to keep my composure. I wanted to pull him out of his daze… but I knew he could no longer hear me.

I let him go.

I am alone in this world. Becca says that I’m never really alone and has offered that I stay with her and her family. I’ve been eating dinner with them for a few weeks now. I enjoy her company, but I do not let her distract me from my research in learning more about the Kokoro Universe and a way out of this prison of a world.

I want to know more about the Universe. I no longer want to be contained in this tiny world of endless woods.

There is a young boy named Yuu who has mysteriously appeared in the world. No one knows where he comes from. He lives in a tent and won’t speak to any one of his past. He says that he is from another world.

I will visit him soon and question him.
