The team continues on through the murky swamp, free of the toxic gases that were causing them to feel the intense pressure. They travel down a narrowing pathway, with trees decorated with the skulls of demons and chasers that cross the ogre of greed's path. As they travel down farther, they see smoke from a campfire moving through the sky. This smoke catches the attention of Debiddo as he says. "Hey, guys look up there." Everyone looks up at the smoke with relief. "Finally, we are at this ogre's lair." Bolt says as he pushes away some swamp foliage that was in his way. "Ok, so do we wait for the rest of our team to meet up with us, or do we go ahead and advance?" Debiddo says crouching over watching as Plutus is preparing a fire. "The strategic thing to do is wait for everyone to catch up to us," Himawari says as she looks at Plutus herself. "I left a trail for everyone to catch up wi—," All of a sudden bolt, senses something off and grabs Debiddo and both of them moves out of the way. "Everyone move!" An explosion of gas hits the rest of the group causing everyone to cough repeatedly. "Wha—what is this?" Himawari says as she tries to cover her mouth.

 "Ah---this smoke--- it's like the smoke from the swamp--*cough,*cough*" Raphael says as he struggles to breathe. "Brock's body—getting heavy" Brock says as the pressure everyone felt previously, is now affecting them even more strongly, however Debiddo and Bolt were unaffected since they leaped on top of a nearby tree. "That was close." Bolt says as he looks at the group struggling through the intense pressure. "Hey are you guys  straight?" Debiddo says looking at the group struggle trying to move. "we can't move, I can't even activate my Genki." Himawari says as her wind Genki fades in and out. "What—is in this—gas?" Raphael says as he tries to stand up. "We felt this pressure before, but it was never to this degree!" the ground then starts shaking as a blithesome cachinnation fills the air. "I see my trap caught a few rats," Plutus says as he moves some trees out the way. As the smoke clears, Debiddo and Bolt land in front of Plutus in fighting position. "Oh I see I missed two," Plutus says as he cracks his knuckles. 

"Yeah, and these "Rats" are going to kick your overgrown Shrek-looking ass! Right Bolt?" Debiddo says. "Right!" Bolt responds as both activate the genkis. "Well, bring it then!" Plutus says as his demonic energy starts shaking the surrounding area. Both Debiddo and Bolt charges in, speeding through the air as if teleporting. They both try to kick Plutus, however, his durable body causes both of them to bounce off. "Damn—what is this bastard made of?" Bolt says to Debiddo. "I don't know, but we got to keep charging in," Debiddo responds. Both Debiddo and Bolt continuously speed through the air, striking Plutus in every spot they can find. "Himawari, struggling to lift her head up, looks onward as she sees Debiddo and Bolt fight in tandem. "You guys got this! You two are the only ones that can take him down!" Himawari says to herself. She then reminisces on the fight between the both of them during the chaser exams. "To think, a year or so ago, you guys were fighting like you two wanted to kill each other, and now you two fight with so much coordination, It's amazing." "Debiddo!" Bolt says as he reaches out for Debiddo's hand. 

"Right!" Debiddo says grabbing Bolts hand. Bolt then tosses Debiddo with all his strength sending him flying towards Plutus. Debiddo then uses his light Genki to enhance his speed causing him to strike Plutus hard enough to cause him to stumble. "That hurt didn't it," Debiddo says cockily as Plutus starts roaring out of anger. "Oh look we made the big brute mad." Bolt says as he flies to Debiddo. "You fools! I wanted to enjoy this fight but now, I think I'll just kill you all!" Plutus then opens his mouth and expels a large amount of gas that surrounds the area. Debiddo and bolt grabs everyone and tosses them out the way of the gas. Debiddo and Bolt then try to continue the barrage of attacks, however, they get stopped as Plutus punches Debiddo sending him flying, and backhands Bolt, causing him to land in the swamp water. "Argh! How could I get caught in something like this!" Raphael says visibly frustrated. For a brief moment, Raphael flames flickered for a split second which catches Debiddo attention. "The gas effects are starting to wear off," Debiddo says as he runs to Himawari. "Hey Hima, do you think you can use your wind, even a little bit?" Himawari tries to use her wind causing a brief gust of wind. "Yeah a little bit," Himawari says as she struggles to get up. 

"Good," Debiddo says as he puts his hand on her back. "This is what I need you to do." "Um Debiddo, are you done over there? Cause I can't hold him off by myself." Bolt says getting knocked down by Plutus again. "You mortals are starting to become the thorn to my side! DIEE!" Plutus says as he lets out more gas. "GAS TRAP DEATH STORM!" Plutus creates a large wave of gas that travels towards Debiddo's direction. Debiddo dodges the attack, focusing the light energy to his feet. "Hikari-art, Light step," Debiddo says as his speed increases striking Plutus more and more with fast punches and kicks. "Stay still you puny bug!" Plutus says trying to strike Debiddo. Debiddo small punches and kicks lead Plutus into the swamp were Debiddo latches onto Plutus putting him in a headlock. While Plutus convulses about, Debiddo screams to Bolt. "Bolt! Use your lightning to spark this nearby gas!" "What? Are you crazy?" Bolt asks. "No, trust me ill make it!" Debiddo responds. "Ok, but if you die, I'll end up leading our team." Bolt replies as he gets into position. Bolt then charges his spiritual energy to launch an attack. "Raijin Art- Lighting Strike!" The lighting travels through the swamp water shocking Plutus. Debiddo then pushes off of Plutus and lands in front of Himawari. The Electricity causes a spark in the gas which causes the gas-filled area around Plutus to explode engulfing the ogre in flames. "AHHHHHHHHHH" Plutus screams as he tries to fight through the fire.

 "Hima, now!" Debiddo says as he charges light energy in his fist. Himawari, using the only amount of spiritual energy she could muster up, she creates a burst of wind that Debiddo uses to catapult himself at the burning Plutus. Debiddo flies at a high speed using his light energy to boost his speed more. "Debiddo Art- Shining STRIIIIIKKKKE" Debiddo travels at such speeds that his body transforms into a beam of light traveling through Plutus, ultimately destroying him. "Nooo, damn you all!" Plutus says as he takes his last breath, falling into the swamp water with a loud shaking thud. "We did it..finally we can move on!" Himawari says, exhausted. "Not bad Hanshi!" Bolt says as he falls into the swamp water exhausted as well. With the defeat of Plutus, the gas starts dissipating and the rat demons start to run away. "They did it! They took out Plutus!" Gus says pushing the last of the demons off of him. "Hmph took them long enough," Kori says in a smug manner. "In all my years as a chaser, I haven't ever seen such a strong and talented group of up-in-comers. Daruri says looking up at the sky. "With this group right here, we may just defeat the Demon King with no casualties." Back at the gate of Gluttony, Cia is seen walking back to her castle while Poketo, Crystal, and Jesson lay down defeated and bloody in the cold white snow.
