Almost 12 moons had gone by when Lazy joined the Clan. The small she-cat was almost a year now, she almost ate the leader Squirrel a few times. But on this warm Greenleaf afternoon Lazy was on Squiggles cave, her favorite spot to nap and eat.

But this time Squiggle had been chewing on a bone splinter when she heard the sound of scuffling atop her cave. The muscular beast stepped out the entrance and looked up to see the yearling she-cat. She spoke in a low raspy voice “Ahem.”

Lazy smiled and spoke softly “oh hello”

“What are you doing up there?” Squiggle huffed.

The small cat smiled brightly, taking a big bite out of her mouse, and spoke “I’m enjoying the nice sun and eating this juicy mouse I caught.”

Yes, I see that. Why do you have to do it on top of my den?” The Wyrm huffed and propped herself up to look over the edge, looking down at Lazy, as if she’s a small snack. Lazy then looked up with a smirk, and spoke with a presidential voice “It’s comfy.”

“Mhmm. Well, why don’t you find a comfy place,” Squiggle reached out and grabbed ahold of Lazy’s tail, beginning to drag her towards the edge, “somewhere else.” Lazy used her claws to try and hold onto the rock, and using her wings to also flap away with no avail. She then whined “Nooo! This is my cave too!.” “Since when?” Squiggle held back a chuckle as she lifted the struggling cat upside down by her tail. “I don’t recall becoming denmates.”

Lazy flapped her wings in frustration, and spoke in a muttering tone, “Since I was born!”

”Hmm.” Squiggle brought Lazy closer to her face for inspection. “I suppose you’re right,” the creature sighed and gently set Lazy down on the ground. Lazy then grabbed her mouse and dropped it in front of her, the small she-cat then rubbed against the giants leg and purred.

Squiggle looked at the prey her young ward presented her. “Good catch,” she praised. Lazy looked up quickly and bolted into the woods, disappearing as if twolegs came about.
