Very early the next morning... like 3 AM early…
The younger siblings have been barking and howling non stop all night. Tony had his paws tightly over his ears having gotten no sleep.
“Guys! Keep it down!,” Tony snapped.
The pups still kept barking and howling.
“Kids! Settle down for all that is sacred!,” their father said.
“Please just go to sleep until the sun comes out!,” their mother begged.
Tony was getting more and more irritated before finally standing up and walking towards the entrance of the cave.
“Guys I’m not gonna be getting any more sleep. I think I’m just gonna go to the river early and you can meet me there,”
Tony’s mom glanced over at him. “Huh? Why are you going there Tony?,”
“Uh.. did you forget what day it is?,”
Tony’s mom’s heart dropped. “Oh I’m sorry Tony. We can’t go this year,”
Tony’s heart dropped too. “What? C-Come on. We always go,”
“Tony!,” Tony’s dad snapped. “Not. This. Year,”
Tony looked shocked before he growled. “Fine! I’ll go by myself then! Don’t worry about me! If something happens to me you’ll probably be happy! You don’t care about me at all! I’m just the worst thing to ever happen to you!,”
Tony stormed out of the cave. Tony’s mom went to stop him.
“Tony, wait. Tony!,”
“Let him go and blow off some steam. We’ll talk to him later,” Tony’s dad said distractedly.
Tony stormed over to the river tearing up a little.
