Back with Tony and Beatrice, Beatrice was still glaring at Tony when she heard the loud rumble and looked worried.
“Is that a stampede?!,”
“Who cares? We live in the forest district. Animals stampede all the time when bears, or wild dogs or cats are hunting them,” Tony said with minimal interest.
“But someone could get hurt,”
Tony began to walk away and looked back at her. “We’re taught how to get out of stampedes in school. No one’s gonna get hurt unless they’re stupid,”
Tony continued to walk away and Beatrice reluctantly followed him.
