Melady was going to tear up, but she held on. But Queen couldn’t hold it in and smiled. Melady all fired up, stood up and said, “How dare you-” Queen interrupts, “I’m sorry for smiling but… I’m happy I found you” Queen looking up at Melady with a bright smile and tears falling down her cheeks. Melady, shocked, opens her mouth but no words come out. Queen stood up and walked towards Melady, Melady flinched and stepped back. Queen shaking, gets closer to the point she hugs Melady. “I’m glad you are okay,” Queen said with a shaky voice.

          Melady couldn’t understand what was going on, her mind was blank. Queen was so happy, that she was afraid it was a dream. She held Melady tighter each minute passing. Melady finally got her voice back, “P-please, I can’t re-really breath.” Queen let go instantly, “O-oh I’m so sorry” Queen said while wiping her tears off her cheek. Melady is confused of what the hell is happening, why is she crying? I should be crying, my parents are the ones that are dead. Time froze, there was no sound, no words to say, just watching Queen wipe her tears. Melady couldn’t help it anymore and asked, “W-why are y-,” Melady was interrupted again. Queen immediately said, “May I leave?”

          Queen was not ready to talk, she was hitted by the fact that Melady, the only best friend she had as a child, is now her neighbor. And she wanted to rest and process what is happening. “O-oh umm of course..” Melady said, she felt a little relieved that the Queen was leaving. “Thank you... “ Queen said with a little shaky voice. Queen trembling to the door, Melady was right behind her. Queen leaves, and Melady closes the door. What… was…. that reaction? Ugh I don’t want to think about it. I don’t want to be involved, it brings bad memories. I’ll just ignore her, she will take the hint. Melady still close to the door, knowing she does not want to see Queen.

          Queen, already in her house, went directly to her bed…. To think and process everything. “How long has it been? 7 years? 8 years…? Why does she hate me? We were like the best friends ever until she...” Finally Queen now realized why… “How could I forget… that night.. She saw it all… But why did she ignore me at first? Does.... she hate.. me?” Queen felt pain in her heart, she didn't want Melady to disappear again. Will she move out because of me? Does she really hate me?... But why? I saved her!... but not…. Her parents. Now, Queen regrets not doing anything to save her parents. “But I saved you…” Tears again falling in her face, Queen still can’t understand why Melady hated her so much. Did Melady forget all the good memories they had together? Queen devastated, Did she really forget about it?
