"I thought at first that Mason was like everybody else..."


"So where we heading first, Mr Tour Guide?" Mason said cheekily.

"Please don't call me that... um Let's head to the main building first I guess..." Logan was taken aback from his friendly behavior but shook it off.

Logan and Mason walked down the hall in awkward silence.

Mason was admiring the paintings hung on the walls when he abruptly stopped.

"Mason What's the hold up I don't have all day!" Logan said clearly annoyed.

"Mr. Tour Guide, could you come here for a second please?" Mason asked.

"I told you not to call me that" Logan complained and walk towards Mason.

"Can you feel the emotion of this painting, Logan?" Mason asked Logan.

"No..?" Logan questioned.

"Well that's unfortunate, because this painting reminds me of you" Mason looked at Logan. 

"A painting of a cat surrounded by water reminds you of me? How so?" Logan was confused at Mason's comment.

"I just have a feeling." Mason said and started walking again. 

"What's that suppose to mean?" Logan was utterly confused.

Logan and Mason Arrived at Their Dorm room.

"And that's the whole school, So I'm going to go now" Logan said and started walking away.

"Wait you haven't showed me the field yet." Mason said and grabbed Logan by the arm.

"Just asked someone else to show you.." Logan yanked his arm from Mason.

"But the Headmaster said you'd show me around" Mason said.

"I would show you where the field is.. but you don't understand.." Logan muttered the last part but Mason Heard it.

"Understand what?" Mason asked.

"The other don't really want me there you know?..." Logan whispered.

"I don't care what they want, You are taking me to the field right now, If they try to kick you out, I'll give them a piece of my mind" Mason said sternly.

Logan was really confused about why Mason was doing this... but he just started walking towards the field and Mason followed

"At that point I was panicking, I didn't really know what to do..."

Logan and Mason arrived at field.

Tanner Scott and the rest of the football team was there. 

"OI!" Scott Yelled from afar.

"We're so screwed" Logan started panicking.

Mason is just stood there, Staring Scott, whose running towards them.

"Didn't I tell you people like you are not allowed here" Scott said to Logan aggressively. "And who's this idiot you brought along!' Scott pointed at Mason.

"Idiot huh? that's a bit disrespectful of you buddy, since you are talking to your new star player of your team. I didn't know that I was playing with assholes." Mason said to Scott who was shocked.

"Wait.. You're the new kid, Why are you hanging out with people like this freak?!" Scott questioned.

"Who are you to tell me who I can, can't hang out with? I am your Team Captain now, and I allow Logan to come here whenever he wants to" Mason Told Scott. 

"But he's gay" Scott Countered.

"So he's gay! No big deal, His human like the rest of us!" Mason Angrily yelled.

"But-" Scott tried to speak

"No but's, Are we clear?" Mason cut off Scott and looked at him in the eyes.

"Yes sir.." Scott said.

"I SAID ARE WE CLEAR!" Mason Yelled. By now the whole field was looking at them now.

"YES SIR." Scott yelled back.

"Now apologize to Logan." Mason gave Scott the death stare.

"WHAT?!" Both Logan and Scott said at the same time.

"He doesn't have to Mason, It's fine.." Logan said to Mason.

"Apologize, Damn it" Mason ignored Logan and grabbed Scott by the collar.

"okay, okay. Sorry" Scott said.

Mason Let go of his collar and looked at Logan. 

"Let's go back to the our dorm, I had enough of this assholes." Mason started to walk back, Logan was shocked by What Mason did but hurried back as well.

"Mason was scary"

Logan closed the door and locked the door behind him.

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!" Logan yelled at Mason.

Mason was visibly shaking. 

"I just wanted to help you... I saw them pick on you earlier on the halls when the headmaster was taking me to his office." Mason won't look at Logan.

"Well I didn't need your help" Logan said and sat on his bed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get myself into your problems" Mason Apologized.

"It's okay, I just hope they won't kill me after this." Logan was Sweating.

"I'll protect you, don't worry" Mason Flexed jokingly.

"okay, Mr. Knight-and-shining-armor." Logan Joked.
 

They both laughed.



 "Maybe this isn't so bad after all"
