An empty fizzy drink can with an orange label, Runs along a fractured pavement, hopping along cracks with the push of the winds across a seemingly endless path. Suddenly propelled by a strong force of a shoe, the can glides across the pavement and hurdles onto the concrete road, spiralling past cars and trucks avoiding impinge by the wheels of the vehicles.

It gets knocked once more by the edge of a speeding wheel and flies off the road, over the second pavement and flung through a suicide barrier fence descending to long drop into the river.

"Cars and birds. All we've seen is cars and birds. What inspiration are we meant to get from that?"

Jim kicks another stray can off the path walk.

"To be fair, we saw a cat eating trash as well."

"O-"

"I get it you are going to make another sarcastic remark. I'm going to be honest. I am not completely sure, Maybe we need to find some other area or something more interesting."

John sighs. While seeing his friend ignoring him playing with cans,

Who sprints to kick another one drifting ahead of him and slows down to think.

"We don't have to only look at things for ideas."

"What?"

"I've watched behind the scenes of film, music and other productions. There are other ways to get ideas. You can use your life experiences, get inspired by other media, do drugs-"

"We are not doing drugs."

"Let me finish, and you can also talk to people who do drugs or join them in doing it-"

"Wait. That's a good idea."

"Talking to people that do drugs? I was not serious about that. I was just bored, please don't tell me you are planning on taking that piece of advice out of everything I just listed right now."

"No, I mean talking to people."

"Oh damn you are having a good idea, who do you want to ask?"

"Your ex."

*ring*

The bell on top the door rattles as the two figures came in, "Guys!" A girl in a rose-red shirt matching with jeans runs over and embraces Jim and john who take it happily, specifically John. Squishing her freckled cheek and nose onto their shoulders and seating everyone down.

She smiles brightly at them. With John returning one but Jim leaving her with the opposite

"So what are you guys doing here?”

She says.

“Well Jim, tell her what we came here for.”

He was ignoring his friend. And hunched over the table with his arms folded, watching ants carry grains of sugar like a child.

"I'm sorry he normally talks more than this. Way more"

"I know. If he's not talking, then it's because he has things to say that shouldn't be said."

The bell on the top of the door rings

"Oh, people are here. I will be right back after I deal with their order."

She paces towards her tabletop.

"Since when were you a dog owner?"

Jim comments

"What?"

"You two are talking about me like I'm a pet while I'm sitting right next to you.

If you want to treat me like one, then I should be entitled to animal rights protections that put you behind bars for being an ass."

"That insult doesn't sound well thought out."

"I can't think straight when I'm angry! Why does your plan involve my ex? I would have preferred it if we talked to a drug dealer."

"Jim, Cindy is really nice. I don't get why you would have a problem with her.."

“I don't have a problem with her………….Necessarily"

 John sighs deeply 

"I have a problem with what I did to Cindy. when we were dating. Before I came to Ireland and met you, I was always sarcastic and jokey. With my comedy back then mostly consisting of insulting someone or laughing at their failure."

Jim tilts his head a little to see John’s unimpressed face and goes back to looking away.

"Cindy is one of the people from my home country I-

Hello, Mocho here. I decided write more onto and post this chapter while people were waiting for my next project.

I got progress on my passion novel a bit. The planning parts not any writing yet sadly.

And now because I am back in school and I get to interact to my friends again I am in the mood to work on rebooting the film.

what you read here isn't a waste by the way. it is mostly going to be in the reboot but I am fixing up problems and adding some extra chapters before the beginning of the story to give a certain character.

Also since the story is being remade we can pretend this current story is a different universe or timeline where they had a happy ending where Jim's ex is a weed dealer and they forget about the film and become rich drug lords
