"Kira!" My mom yelled from downstairs, the smell of sizzling bacon and eggs filled my room entirely, I live in an apartment, so I sleep in the only bedroom while my mom sleeps on the couch. You know. When she is home. My mom is never home, I mean never. She is always at work, whether she is working at BIG Y or she's working her overnight shift at McDonald's, she never makes time for me. Work Work Work... "KIRA!" "I'm Coming Mother!!" I screamed back and jumped up out of bed and looked at the time. 7:15.. I have 45 minutes to do my hair and shit...REALLY. God, I never have any extra time. I ran downstairs with my battery-powered hair straightener, I was wearing my usual outfit, ripped black jeans a black tank top, and a flannel tied around my waist. Just typical me. "Once again you really want to look like an idiot at school?" "Since when did you care?" I scoffed in her direction and grabbed a piece of bacon, starting to eat it as I threw all my school work into my bag and threw on my studded boots. "Since you were born Kira. I don't think I deserve this kind of attitude." She put her hand in front of the door as I turned around throwing a piece of bubble gum into my mouth and grabbing my skateboard. "Well maybe if you were here every once in a while, then maybe you can say you don't deserve the attitude I give you," I said in a calm collective manner to her and dropped my skateboard on the floor throwing my backpack on. "Make friends this year..." My mom mumbled and I laughed. "Yeah Sure." I put my foot on the skateboard and pulled the string above my head and it pulled the door open as I pushed myself out the door on my skateboard. I put my beanie on my head, its a little chilly today. A smile grew on my face as I pushed myself towards the stair case. I lifted my feet up and grabbed the bottom of the skateboard and landed on the handrail and rode my skateboard all the way down until the skateboard came off the railing where I jumped up and landed on the skateboard and drove out the front door of the apartment complex. God that is the brightest part of my morning. I pulled out my phone and went onto my phone app and called up the school principal. "Yo do I still have to give that girl a tour? I really don't want to hold a paper cup in front of the school for 20 minutes waiting for her." "Yes, You Do Miss Richardson. Please stop complaining about it." He hung up on me and I pulled my earbuds out and started blaring Black Veil Brides and blanked out until I reach the edge of the school property where I pulled out the stupid piece of paper that has this chick Amber's name on it. I stood outside and waited until I saw a black Ram 3500 pull up.
