She doesn't look like she's doing too well? I wonder.. No, I'm not doing this whole friendship with girls thing again. All they know how to do is stab you in the back, but if you have male friends they don't seem to do you dirty. All they do is make people think that they are weak and need help then when you go to help them they stab you in the back. I've been down that road and I am not going down it again. I turned around and started walking down the courtyard and as we hit the front door I look back at her with a ton of papers in my hand. "Schedule, Handbook, and Homework folder. Oh and a map." I threw all the stuff at her as she scrambled to catch it, "You have Chem in 5 minutes don't be late, you have locker 124 it's directly next to mine, the main hallway left side 3rd column, 2331 is the combination I suggest you leave anything you don't need in there and lock it. See you in class." I turned around as she fumbled trying to remember everything I said. "W-Wait you can't just leave me here!" she yelled as I dropped my skateboard on the floor. "Oh but I can, and I am." I smile and push off on the skateboard maneuvering around kids and I rode it all the way into class. Amber ran in just as the bell rang and the teacher pointed at her and smiled. "Kids, this is our new student all the way from Tennessee! Nashville to be exact and she is going to tell us a bit about herself since she is technically late to my class." Amber sighed and looked at the teacher then back at the students. "I'm a farmworker from Nashville Tennessee, I have a 12-year-old brother named Luke, and my dad is Jon Marie, in case any of you are country music fans he's the top on the charts right now... um... I also really don't want to be up here right now but I had no choice. Happy?" she looked at the teacher who nodded and she went and sat at the only empty seat, which just so happened to be next to me. "Kira...I can finally say enjoy your new lab partner." He laughed and I grumbled. "Just teach your frickin class will ya." I got out my phone and started texting, though I noticed Amber saw that Mr. Henderson was staring directly at me and for some godforsaken reason as he spoke out my name Amber completely collapsed on the floor and started hyperventilating. She was grabbing her throat and everything. God was she a good actor. "Amber! Hey are you alright?" I slipped my phone into my pocket and dropped to her along with the other students, though I was the first one there that prevented her head from hitting the floor. "I-I'm fine y'all really. Wow, you guys didn't waste a damn second getting to me. Thank you y'all, I appreciate it, but I'm fine, guess just a little overwhelmed." Overwhelmed my ass. She was covering for me. "Well if that's so lets all get back to classwork and less with the theatrics Amber and Kira." Great Now I owe her, I mean I admit she's pretty cool. Now how the hell am I supposed to get her to forgive me...
