【"Ｅｒｉｓ，】 take her to the next destination and get her ready" the professor said. The silver haired girl nodded her head in silence pulling me along.

"The next site is that tall blackish building right up ahead."

I shrugged continuing to look down at my feet sluggishly.

"Oh where, oh where has that burst of confidence gone Ms. Wolfe? I'm starting to miss that cocky attitude."

I turned my head frowning and shrugging my shoulders again.

She grabbed my arms pulling me closer. Her face inches away from mine. Her crystal blue eyes bored into mine.

"Look Scar, whatever you faced back there, whatever you saw... Don't let that be the speed bump on your journey. Just remember, you're only strong if you allow your mind to be. It's all about mentality. It ain't getting any easier from here on out." She said giving me little shake.

Letting that sink in, I took a deep breath. "I have to admit that I was kinda, sort of, caught off guard. It wasn't what I expected... But wow. I didn't think that I'd hate hearing clichés until I heard a bunch of em all at the same time." I said smiling slightly rolling my eyes.

Eris bit back her laughter and playfully punched my arm. "Okay you smart ass."

"Anyway before we move forward, are there any questions?"

"Now that you mention, I do have a few. What is the next tes—"

"You know that I can't answer that."

I stuck out my tongue making a sour face. "It worth the try. Though, there was this room from the last test that piqued my interest. The walls were filled with descriptions, weird looking images, and strange texts."

Eris immediately stopped as her eyes widened. She firmly pulled me into a deathly bear hug whispering.

"Does anybody know about it?"

"Uh... I don't think so? Why?"

"You cannot let anyone know. Make sure when testing is over, you go straight to Martinéz and tell him about your ability as soon as possible." She said in a low voice that I could barely hear unless I held my breath.

I remained silent trying to process the information I was receiving.

"Be fully aware of who you consider friends and acquaintances."

"Then how can I trust you and Martinéz ?" I questioned.

"I know what I just said was contradicting. You are just going to have to trust me on this. I promise I will fully explain later when we meet again." She said as she wrapped her arms around my neck leaning in to lightly peck me on the cheek.

"We got one more to go, so keep your head up" she murmured pushing me from behind.

I stood there looking dumbfounded as I tripped over my words stupidly as she dragged me along.

"T-Thanks." I managed to spit out. Oh my gods. If she were to see how red my face is right now, that would be the end of me.

Eris whirled around smiling mischievously. "Did anyone tell you that you look even cuter when you're f—"

I zipped right past her heading towards the building looking red as ever not saying a word. I looked over my shoulder and there she was right next to me smirking as she sped up.

"Pfft. Challenge accepted Winter." I huffed.

As we approached our destination, Eris was waiting patiently by the side entrance.

"H-How the fuck are you so damn fast." I said trying to catch my breath as I rested my hands on my knees taking deep breaths.

She winked applauding me. "Kudos to you. Give yourself some credit since you are one of the very few that can keep up."

I scoffed "I'll get you next time. I'll make sure of that Winter."

Turning my attention to examine the building, "what is this place called?"

"The Purgatorium."

Oh man, I would have updated earlier but distractions are killing me. This whole week I had so many exams. And lots more next week!
