“Do you ever use your phone?” Sebastian sighed.
“I was inside the club. I couldn’t hear it.”
“It’s nine in the evening, that’s early.” Sebastian chuckled. I don’t need this man mocking me, right now. Not after what I had to go through back there.
“Anyway, what do you want?” I hissed.
“I was going to offer you work, but if you’re going to be like that then…”
“I apologise for being rude. I’m having a bad day.” I forced the apology out of my mouth, rubbing my forehead. The last thing I need is for Sebastian to drop me. He was calling me after screwing up the job last week. He was prepared to give me another chance, I can’t mess this up now.
“Well, since you were polite with your apology, I’ll let it go. Come over to my place.” Sebastian instructed, “I’m sure you know where it is now?” Are you kidding me? He was sending me across town again. Does he think I can fly or run supersonic speed?
“I’m on the other side of town. Could you pick me up or something?” Sebastian laughed at my request and hung up. You know what, I take back what I said earlier. Sebastian is more of an asshole than T.
I managed to get to Sebastian’s place with the help of a taxi, which I hate using. On the way downtown, the taxi driver occasionally glared at me, mumbling ‘street scum’ under his breath. He was lucky that he was hiding behind a barrier. Once I reached his apartment, I softly knocked. Five minutes passed. He was doing this on purpose. He knows I’m pissed, and he just wanted to provoke me further for his entertainment. I clenched my fist and banged on the door this time. After a few extra minutes, Sebastian opened it.
“A knock is all that’s needed. How desperate are you to come in?” I ignored his teasing and shoved past him. Sebastian watched me as I threw off my jacket and my phone, “What’s up with you? Had an argument with your girlfriend?” Why bother asking? I know he doesn’t care why I’m upset.
“It’s nothing,” I mumbled.
“Well, drop the act then. Get over it.” I looked up to glare at Sebastian but noticed he was half-naked. My jaw almost dropped. He had one of the most amazing bodies I have seen. He was lean and muscular, the body I have always wanted. Guys from Granton would kill for those abs. He was more masculine than I thought he was, it made me self-conscious. I looked away quickly because I didn’t want him to get the wrong idea, “I know you like what you see. I’m afraid any further activity is off-limits tonight.” He teased. He suddenly gasped in pain. He placed a hand on his lower back and leaned on a table for support.
“Are you in pain or something?” I asked. Sebastian smirked at me.
“You wouldn’t want to know the life of a gay man, do you?”
“Huh?” I was right, he was gay. It wasn’t a big deal for me, but I never expected to be right in my judgment. Sebastian mimicked a sexual gesture over his ass. I looked away from his gesture.
“He was so rough as well. I can barely walk.” He groaned, laughing at me as I desperately covered my ears.
“I’m sorry I asked!” I yelled, wanting him to stop. I don’t want to visualise any imagery of Sebastian getting screwed by a man. Sebastian finished with a chuckle and threw a top back on.
“Don’t act all disgusted, I know you want to try it with a guy. Maybe we can try it sometime.” He teased. Was he flirting with me? I glared at him, and he just shook his head with a small smile, “I’m playing with you, you’re not my type.”
“Type?”
“I like older men, real men. You’re young, inexperienced, and probably boring.” His comment strangely annoyed me. Why would he think I would be boring? Why do I even care? I would never have sex with Sebastian, despite my growing curiosity about him. The aspect of us sleeping together was so unheard of, so messed up, and it was stupid even imagining it.
“Anyway, why did you call me?” I finally asked, shaking away my unwanted thoughts about Sebastian and sex.
“Well, despite your ultimate screw up last week, you managed to get the job done. So, I’m offering you another one. Maybe if you’re a good boy this time, you’ll get some pocket money.” Well, I can’t say no to money, I need to pay the rent soon.
“What do you want me to do?”
“Well it’s ironic, I have an ‘exchange’ tonight. I need you to oversee and kill off any living soul that even thinks about hijacking this one. This is more important than some petty deal at Kingsford Park. Understand?” He wasn’t kidding around. I know if I mess this up, I’m dead. In order to live, I had to possibly kill someone. Hopefully, it was hypothetical. I can’t imagine a group more stupid than T’s to hijack the Luxe Family.
“Yes, I’ll do it,” Sebastian smirked. He managed to get close enough to squeeze my cheek.
“Good boy.” I slapped his hand away. I can’t stand it when he calls me that.
“I’m not a boy, I’m an adult.” I corrected his patronising behaviour. I swear Sebastian is the same age as me, I hate it when he talks down to me.
“Well, prove to me that you’re a man. Maybe I’ll like you more.” Sebastian teased, ruffling my hair. I can’t tell if he’s flirting with me, or genuinely being an asshole. It’s worrying that I get all flustered when he touches me like this. “Come on, stop having masculinity issues. Let’s go,” Sebastian ordered. He picked up his gun, a .44 Magnum which sat on the dining table, and of course his cigarettes. The coat he was wearing looked incredibly expensive. I wish I could wear clothes like him, and I was jealous of his gun as well. I wished I had everything Sebastian owned, except for his sexual tastes.
I don’t want to have an aching ass.
