(Gamer's POV)
"I just don't get why we have to hide it from her-" "Cause if the council finds out that Angel wasn't the one who tried to kill Lyrtse Thorn and open the case again, then they're gonna trace it back to us" Death explained as we walked back to the hotel from the casino. "We're both going to E.U, the council can't do anything to us while we're at school-" we stopped in front of the hotel "As soon as we go in, grab the headphones and we'll go straight to our rooms before Angel asks us anything" Death opened the door and we walked in, closing the door behind us. "...It's too quiet" I whispered as we walked into the living room "Maybe Angel's asleep" Death whispered back before the lights flickered on, Angel sitting on the edge on the pool table "Hey you two, how was the casino?" Angel asked being... nice "Did you find your headphones?" "N-no, they m-must be laying around here somewhere...um" I have no idea how to react to this version of Angel. "I've got something I want to show you two" Angel pulled out an- oh shit "Can you explain why this was in your room Gamer" "Death told me to" "Traitor!" "It was your idea!" "You were in on it too!-" "Shut up!" we froze as Angel grabbed a bottle off the pool table. 

"You two are gonna tell me why you hid my E.U letter for two weeks or I'm gonna force this bottle of holy water down your throats" Angel hissed "Um... saving it as a surprise for your.... birthday?" Death tried to come up with something "Like you two fucking care about my birthday which is next month, try again" "Cause if you get into E.U, it might become prof that you didn't try to kill Lyrtse Thorn, the council could reopen the case and find out that it was me and Death..." I admitted "Gamer!-" "Like lying is gonna stop her from killing us... listen, Angel... open the letter, if you didn't get in then you can kill us and if you did get in, you can make both of us do the chores around the hotel for four months until first term" I said. Angel opened the envelope, reading a bit of it and looking back up at us "I'm gonna kill you two..." "Oh fuck-" "After I graduate" me and Death looked at her with confused faces "I got accepted into E.U, but I will kick your asses after we graduate" "O-okay?" Angel placed the bottle of holy water down "You two could've just told me the truth at the start, I would've understood why you did it and I'd doubt that the council would reopen the case" Angel started walking towards the stairs "And don't bother doing the chores, you two always do them wrong" and like that, Angel disappeared upstairs. "Holy shit, we almost died" I exhaled, heart pumping loudly in my ears "Just lock your bedroom door tonight" "Death-" "Gamer, we both know what she's like, I was her first year in hell, you were her second. Angel was nice to us both in the start and then she changed, she embraced the fact she was a demon and put us into the ground-" "Because we treated her like she was some rag doll" I spat, Death giving me a questioning look. "She tried to make me happy, but I just treated her like a piece of shit and you did too. We used her, now she has every right to hate us, but she still lets us live here... we promised never do anything to her again" I started walking up the stairs "Gamer" I stopped "Do you still like her?" "... she's my friend... nothing else" I walked to my bedroom and laid down on my bed "I fucking hate myself"....
