After three outfits later, Leticia finally found an outfit she wanted to wear today. She put on a spaghetti black strap shirt and knee-length jean skirt. This fashion combination matched her brown high heel boots. Leticia heard a knock on the door and a voice boomed at her.
“Leticia! You are taking forever! This is not fashion week!” Lily called her.
Yelling back at the hotel door, “I’m done! I just need to put all this stuff back in the bag!” Leticia hastily packed up her clothes into her backpack.
After about twenty minutes, she heaved up her backpack on her shoulders. Leticia made sure that she had everything from her side, then opened the door to meet Lily. Lily had been standing out of the hotel door, waiting for Leticia, sighing when Leticia came out of the room.
“Why do you always have to be the last one to be ready?” Lily said.
“Sorry! But hey, at least my timing is getting better!” Leticia walked with Lily down to the hotel lobby.
As the two headed down the hotel lobby, Leticia and Lily chatted with each other about which topics ranged from band business to personal topics. Lily is more than just the band manager to her, she was the girls' closest confidant. Not even their co-manager, Topanga Crowley had a relationship with the band like Lily does. The casual conversation went smoothly until Lily and her stopped walking at the end of the hallway.
“Leticia, we need to talk.” Lily spoke out first when Leticia’s eyes blinked when she said those words.
“Yeah, what is up?” Leaning against the wall, Leticia kept her focus on Lily.
“I talked to Raleigh last night. It seems like she is angry at you for forgetting your part. She feels tired of covering up your mistakes.” Lily explained.
Leticia crossed her arms, and her face frowned when Lily told her this. She complained, “It was a slipup. I don’t know why Raleigh is making such a big deal out of it. No one in the damn audience noticed. She needs to stop being oversensitive and grow a pair. Ray needs to stop being so immature!”
“I know that. She recognized that and will apologize to you. Another concern that Dakota had told me you were sick.” Lily changed the conversation's topic quickly.
“It’s nothing serious, but a fucking headache. It will pass.” Leticia headed towards the elevator, pressing the button.
“I think it is worse than that. Trust me, I know. I think it would be best for you to take a break.” Lily suggested as Leticia’s irritation rose at that suggestion.
“No! I don’t need another break! I’m fine. Perfectly fine!” Leticia squealed, pushing the button again and again aggressively.
“You’re lying to yourself.” Lily went up to touch her shoulder to calm her down, “Listen, a leader has to keep themselves in check before leading a team. Self-care is important. The band will be fine as Dakota can take over your duties until you’re better.”
The elevator doors opened as a crowd of people rushed out before they could get on board. Thinking about what Lily said, she knew she was getting worse, but didn’t know how to stop it. Leticia refused to believe that was one of those Supernaturals that Chantel and Darren talked about. She is normal through and through! When they arrived at the lobby, Leticia turned to Lily and said, “Fine. After we do this newspaper interview, I’ll go on a short hiatus, okay?”
This peaceful moment between them stopped when Leticia saw Amelia within her eyesight with her band. This girl that almost killed her at the Millenium Concert Hall shouldn’t even be around her bandmates. Before Lily could answer, Leticia marched over to where her band and Amelia is, who were laughing together. She stood over next to Dakota and threw a nasty glare at Amelia then Amelia’s smile disappeared.
“Oh, hi, Leticia! Your band is so funny!” Amelia got up and moved away from the group, “I’d love to stay and chat with you guys longer, but I have to go.”
“Okay! See you soon, Amelia!” Cho waved goodbye to Amelia.
Leticia observed Amelia leaving her band, then meeting up with another black girl, who looked like someone from Amelia’s band. As her group chatted, she headed over to Amelia to give her a warning to not come near her band again.
“Yo, you freak?!” When Leticia called her, Amelia and her eyes met again in tension.
“Oh. You again? Go away. So, I was saying, Nicola….” Amelia answered, ignoring Leticia and continuing to talk with Nicola.
“How about you stay the fuck away from my band mates?!” Leticia warned.
“Amelia, isn’t that the heifer that harassed you in the woods?” Nicola pointed out as Leticia went red with anger.
“Heifer!? This girl tried to fucking kill me!” Leticia raised her voice which Nicola giggled at her outburst.
“Yep, Amelia, I feel that Aura too. Huge and powerful, but then again, the dumb bitch is still denying she is one of us.” Nicola smirked. This made Leticia even angrier.
Moving closer to Nicola, Leticia was about to raise her hand to slap her until none other than Lily stopped her! She turned her head to face her manager, who pulled her from behind. Lily showed a kind face to the two girls and asked, “And just who would you two lovely ladies be?”
“Um… Hi.” Amelia grabbed Nicola and hurried her away from Lily and Leticia.
Lily let go of Leticia’s hand as the two walked back to the band. She didn’t understand why Lily didn’t go after the girls, but there isn't time for fights today. Especially since Leticia needs to keep a good image for her band. Those two freaky girls win for now.

The band’s interview was in a conference room of the hotel room. The group sat at a large, round table, waiting for the reporter to show up. Leticia felt nauseous again, but tried to stay strong enough to carry out this last promotion activity. The door swung open as Leticia’s eyes shot up to see Jessica! The band got up and greeted her, shaking Jessica’s hand before sitting back down again. Jessica sat down in the chair next to Leticia as she took out her pen, notebook, and recorder. She went over the ground rules with the band before starting the interview.
The actual interview seemed to take forever with questions related to their creative process, the band member’s favorite music genre, and the band’s inspiration. Leticia only said a couple words in between. Oddly, she was feeling this insane energy coming from Jessica. It was making Leticia’s head spin, while Jessica continued to ask them questions. She snapped herself out of it when she heard one of the last question.
“Do you have any plans for your band for the future?” Jessica asked.
This question stumped Leticia and the rest of the band. She wanted to answer, but her head hurt again. The headache came back and furious this time. It was not going away this time.
Leticia is feeling sleepy and nauseated while she is rocking herself to stay awake. Before saying a word, she fainted! Everything went black to Leticia as she could only hear the frantic cries of her band mates before the voices faded away.
